i don't get what the fascination with Cassandra Cain and steph are.. i could swear i didn't hear all this when they were around other than the mian bat girl fn boys/girls. I never heard in pre 52. WE NEED MORE STPEH AND CASSANDRA! There cool characters but they arnt that cool where theyd make it to my top 10..pshh not even my top 50. maybe top 60 if anything if we are counting all DC characters.

I more concerned on the progression of story for the current DC characters.

Eclipso is never good news and he looks EPIC !!! One of my favorite villains !! (except when he was Sue)

Yeah, DC also thought Catwoman fans would approve of a cheap BATMAN RETURNS origin. They seem to care as much about character motivation as I do about what color shirt to wear in the morning.

Yet again, another non-answer when it comes to Cassandra. They say the same thing each year, and each year nothing. Let's face it. They have no plan for Cassie.

Animal Man has been "The Never Ending Story" since issue 1. They built up the Swamp Thing crossover for so long that I'm over it all ready. I'm still buying the title but not enjoying as much as I would have if they just got to it a few issues faster.

Swampy in the batcave, on the other hand, with Man-bat. That's something new. Looking forward to that issue.

We will see Doomsday? Sweet.

O man huge things coming for I, Vampire. Really looking forward to that book going forward after issue 12. Amazing book.

I think you're misinterpreting my statement (if you're not, I don't understand the hostility)

I meant it in regards to DC editorial giving us the runaround. As somebody who considers myself a huge fan of the two (more so of Cass, but still a big Steph fan), I'm tired of being strung along. Either say that they don't exist, or say that you don't want to use them, but give a definitive answer one way or another. Not 'oh, they still exist' or 'oh, they'll turn up eventually'. It's tiresome and provides a false sense of hope.

@Mercy_: Batman, Wally West, Donna Troy, Cass and Steph show up and fight off Pandora and the Justice League to restore the universe. This event will happen 2 years from now. But you didn't hear it from me.

It's also a huge lie.

God. I love Jeff Lemire but I have too many darn books, and figured I'd drop JLD after the Annual and the current arc. But it seems like he'll be able to string me along for some more time. Maybe. Definitely.

@zackattack529: because pre 52 Stephanie had her own book and Cass was showing up in various bat books. since the reboot we havent seen them. but Raven finally showed up in phantom stranger. cant wait for that storyline to be told

well Lady Shiva is going to be in Nightwing, with her being Cassandra's mom maybe that could lead to bringing her in (maybe working with the league of assassins at first or undercover to take them down from the inside out) and teaming up with Nightwing. as for steph i think it would be cool if she became Barbara's sidekick/partner. keep the spoiler name but update the costume, it could be great if handled right

I agree with you and Linkara. Most of these redesigns are very early 90's Image comics and l hate those.

Having said that, in my opinion, if there was one character who desperately needed a redesign, it was Eclipso.

I dunno, I kinda like it. I mean, shirtless designs are always a bit awkward, but the whole "magic fantasy warrior" look works here.
