Move over, Green Arrow, because it's time for Diana of Themyscira to become the Character of the Month! The latest theme included five characters who have upcoming movies announced and the Goddess of Truth pretty much obliterated the competition. She held onto a decent lead since the poll opened on Monday and now she's going to receive an entire month of praise and focus. It's worth noting Wonder Woman is our first female Character of the Month and this was the character's third time appearing in the poll. Third time's the charm, right?
Throughout November, we're going to give Wonder Woman plenty of love on the homepage. We're going to write editorials about the heroine, highlight some of her coolest covers, discuss one of her best fights, and praise one of her most memorable stories. Also, she's going to enter our Battle of the Week segment! Those will be announced every Monday and the poll will remain open until Friday. Oliver Queen had an impressive record in the segment while he was the Character of the Month (3-1), but will Diana be the first combatant to go undefeated? Only time shall tell!
Diana kept a fair lead and only Marvel's Doctor Strange ever put her victory in any potential danger. Meanwhile, Aquaman and Deadpool remained neck and neck, neither gaining a significant lead over the other. Sadly, Black Panther stayed in last pace pretty much the whole time.
