Nightcrawler Returns in AMAZING X-MEN #1!

Seriously, I have no problem with Nightcrawler coming back, but afterwards, I hope Wolverine isn't on the team. The man is everywhere. This arc could have easily been in WATXM, seeing how the main cast is from his school, with the exception of Firestar.

Yay! Another X-Men and Jason Aaron book!!

Honestly, even though it's great Nightcrawler is coming back, I think he should remain dead but I guess this series will show how important and awesome he is.

I'm not sold that Jason Aaron has sufficient reverence to deal with Nightcrawler. I am, however, absolutely fascinated by the direction he lays out for Firestar. Why she has been hanging around middling heroes so long escapes me, but I welcome her as a great addition to X-Books everywhere.

I hope Aaron returns to his good days with this book instead of his yadda-yadda stories for 4 yearzz old kidzz he is doing with WatXM and the evilzzz zchool for evilzzz kidzzz. He wrote some great comics in the past and he handles REALLY well the relationship between the elf and wolverine. I loved the issue where wolverine deals with nightcrawer's death.

I wonder how they will handle his comeback given that he is a religious man and has been shown to be in Heaven in another Wolverine book wrote by Aaron IIRC.

Despite his writting declining a lot in WatXM, he has been showing a lot of respect and reverence for the elf (see my post above) so at least he will bring that.

Well I'm not really reading any X-books because there are simply too many to keep up with. I doubt I'll pick this one up either. If return to any of those books I'll either catch up on All New or go back to start Ultimate Comics. I thought Kurt's death in Second Coming was a really heavy moment and I'd be lying if I said this didn't take away the impact of that defeat. At the same time I think swashbuckling Nightcrawler is probably my favorite Nightcrawler. They even made a sweet homage to those old issues in that episode of Wolverine And The X-Men. Also that awesome cut scene in the first Ultimate Aliiance game.

I think I'll drop X-Men for this it sounds good.

Man, this is just ridiculous! Aside from an entire universe made of super beings, time travel, light speed, and rapid/abrupt mutation in the human genome, it's just absurd to bring the dead back to life. What does Marvel think they are doing? It's not like they are writing fiction!!!

On a tangent, I am excited to see Aaron desperate his adult team from his JGS children. WatX finally won't be so crowded.

I do love Nightcrawler's character but I am always nervous when it comes to resurrection in comic books. Nightcrawler's death in Second Coming was highly emotional (at least I thought so) and I hope that bringing him back doesn't dull that. At least it involves Azazel! I don't think I could stand another horrible resurrection involving time travel and a clone.

Everyone is complaining about "another" X-Men title, but neglect to mention that X-Factor and Astonishing X-Men are ending. I'm super excited about this book.

Anybody else think Kurt returning might be the start of the X-Men coming back together? Bringing the heart and soul of the team back to the X-Men (and another voice of reason) might snap some sense in Scott and Logan about this whole separation spat they're having.

I get a feeling Azazel might have something to with them looking for Kurt's soul?

Normally I'd cry foul at the comic book plot of cheating death, but for nightcrawler I don't care. Even with his noble exit and sacrifice, with his death the xmen world, growing darker every decade,lost its one shining light when he died. This character is just too wonderful and unique to have lost.

To me my fave and the most interesting x man ever; visually so cool and a Cockrum classic and character who is truly the heart and soul of the group. and How I've missed wolverine calling him elf. I don't really need or want another x book. I'd wish he was joining wolverine and the xmen. But I'll take him how I can get him.

Should have called it Nightcrawler but I suppose having X-men in the title sells more.

Any bets on when they're resurrecting Professor X? :P

I love Nightcrawler, but I'm really not too keen on them making yet another death meaningless, in the long line of meaningless deaths. I'm sure Aaron will do this resurrection respectfully, but it still feels too soon.

Regardless of my hesitation though, a new ongoing is absolutely the wrong place for this story. There are plenty of X-books as it is, many of which with overlapping teams. Unless this is replacing Wolverine & The X-Men then I don't want it. And the title "Amazing X-Men" proves my point; fact that they have already used up every adjective for X-Books and had to move on to Spider-Man's is ridiculous.

YAH! i finally have something in comics to forward to (since i still can't find out how X-termination ended) I love Nightcrawler, but I don't think he's going to be too happy about all the crap Cyclops and Wolverine have pulling lately.

I'll pick this up for firestar

Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Man too, so I'm happy to see him back.

Not so happy that Jason Aaron's writing this, as his Wolverine & the X-Men has been quite frequently awful.

i used to be an quite big x-men fan but man, i can't stand how they bring back characters and make there sacrifice redundant.

Ok. YAYYYYYY he's back. Sooooo what!!!!! I hate that Marvel is returning to life other characters but Jean Grey. She is the one that need to return. They tried in the past to replace Jean with Hope Summers, and they failed because is a lame and boring character. They bring back from the past the original Jean Grey, fucking her interesting development as morally value member of the X-Men turning her to a total bitch, and again, they failed to impress again. PLEASEEEEE Bring Jean without the Phoenix Force back to life. She had stay dead for 9 long agony yearssssssss. Almost 10 years till February 2014. It's about time to bring her back. BTW, the only thing that I got excited is to see Firestar as a team member of the X-Men.

I love Nightcrawler but he better stay dead.His death was noble and was done good,it had a good enough impact over everybody and was one of the best handled deaths in comics.So I prefer if Aaron leaves him dead.

Might not be bad if there were ever character development with the guy. Honestly, the he-looks-like-a-demon-but-he's-really-catholic schtik was worn out decades ago. Now, if they were to write him as a pagan priest learning magick from Magicienne or Margali, thereby enhancing his teleporting, that would be interesting.

I like Jason Aaron, I like the sound of Amazing X-men too. Will check this out for sure!

I like Aaron but I would've preferred for Night Crawler to remain dead for a while longer nonetheless I do plan on picking up yet another X title.

I am fine with Nightcrawler coming back but I hate that will be yet another X-Men title with Wolverine in it. Marvel just can not help themselves. They seem determined to ruin this character. Remember when Wolverine was cool, me neither.
