Firstly, this will be the 8th film of the franchise over a 16 year period, under numerous directors and writers. How do you even try to just lump them together like they're all the same quality of film? Furthermore, I have some gripes with certain films of the franchise, but if Wolverine being too tall is a serious problem for you, why do you even bother trying to enjoy entertainment? If you're so picky that the height of a character makes the slightest difference to your enjoyment of a story, why bother trying? It's not like being short is a fundamental character trait that affects his actions.

I just hope for Cyclops, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler, Psylocke, Polaris, Banshee, and Cable either return, get recasted, or make their appearance.

Yawn...these Xmen movies suck! Wolverine 6'4 come on now! Terrible acting and Jean Grey should only be with Cyclops. Horrible I tell u!

as far Lang... I dont want the same mistakes that were made with Magneto. I originally thought Bruce Willis if you want older but still action-based but now im not sure maybe the Monroe guy from Revolution on Fox?

@dreamfall31: Agreed. By the time X-Force rolls around, that guy will be too old for a property they will want for at least 8 years. They're probably going to cast someone in their 30s and dye his hair white.

Really hoping the X-Force 5 are Cable, Deadpool, Psylocke, Bishop, and Juggernaut. It's supposed to take place after X-Men: Apocalypse, so hopefully some time travel is involved.

@tazzmission: He's got the look, but I will never see him as any other character but the bad guy from Avatar. That and I'm sure they'll want to cast someone younger and closer to A-list.

The timing of this is awesome, giving even more hype to the franchise so that people will want to see DoFP to make sure they know what's going on. Plus, with another solo Wolverine movie, I'm hoping this will have plenty of ensemble support. I just really don't want an AoA movie. I hated those stories, but I love Apocalypse and all that comes with him, so I'm just super excited to see where this all goes.

yea like milking a charachter is brand new............... the irony of this statement is laughable since the people who complain about there being to much batman will still go see the 2015 movie of superman with him in it. if i had a dollar for everytime someone said movie ruined or i aint seeing it id be a billionare

I'm really looking forward to this film, but such a long way off. Well, to the creative team, please study X-Men the animated series from the 90s, when making a film about Apocalypse. The episodes to consider: Come the Apocalypse, Obsession, his cameo in Sanctuary, Part 2, Beyond Good and Evil, and The Fifth Horseman. If the creative team remembers such source material, as the 90s animated series, and they make Apocalypse awesome, this should be a great movie. Please, don't fowl him up with the mess created in the comic books and prior X-Men movies; getting source material from anything other than the 90s X-Men tv show would turn a great movie into a mediocre to poor film.

If you have to change the main character of the source material to sell tickets I have little reason to have high hopes for the next movie.

It will be interesting to see who the X-men are at the end of Days of Future Past (old cast or First class cast), I think that will really affect the story they can tell.

Can anyone remember the X-men Evolution Apocalypse storyline in the final season? that was pretty cool in an otherwise mediocre series, I feel something like that could work in live action.

Bring back Cyclops and make him an important character.

On the one hand Im glad for another Xmen movie. On the other, thinking about the clusterf*ck that the Phoenix was and the fact that it's still Fox....ughhhh.

Hope Apoc gets somewhat of a intro in Days. Glad this franchise is not going over to disney/marvel so they can kiddie it up and ruin the villains.

that may be true but think of what might happen if dofp dosent do well at the box office. fox stated its there second one billion dollar film they invested in with avatar being the first. to me the trailer looked amazing but in the end its really going to come down to box office draw because in order to break even i believe they have to make a billion ( not great with math but still). also even though it still looks questionable i think batman/superman is probably the most anticipated movie coming even if it is in 2015 it very well could suck but i think itll bank 2 billion i really do.

Haha, DC gets stomped again. Marvel will get Thanos and Apocalypse out before WB can even muster the courage to have someone write the name Darkseid as spoken dialogue in a script draft.

That could be interesting but eh Age of Apockalypse functions better because of the long wide spread format and not a singular threw line. Then again maybe it could be good, I've been wanting them to do it for a while.

Yup! Right now Fox is tied with Marvel Studios as my favorite superhero company with Sony and WB far behind. I really cannot wait to see the above films. I'm excited for all of them! I really want them all to be great.
