@dannymalt: Marvel has collected the first 14 issues and annual in two trades. Go read those and maybe you'll like Miguel and the whole 2099 concept.

Cool. I may now have another hero to follow (alongside Nightcrawler) in Marvel instead of just collecting the main events. Both the writer and the artist are convincing enough to push the title forward.

Shock yeah! I'm so shockin' happy to read this. I remember first picking up Spider-man 2099 when I was young and it being one of the first series I read every issue of (with the exception of issue 25, that I was never able to get a hold of then) and owned. Rather curious what they'll do with him. I'd imagine he can't be doing something like trying to stop Alchemax as this would just mess up his future, and prevent his creation.

How many spidermen and symbiotes with spider man powers are there in the 616 universe? Are they all in New York?

Isn't he also in Uncanny Avengers? Or is that someone else?

Never really liked Spider-Man 2099 it was just a Batman Beyond ripoff and i hate Batman Beyond sooo. Both Batman Beyond and Spider-Man 2099 suffer from terrible main character and terrible generic villians alot of the villians basically just being future rehashed of the original character (Batman and Spider-Man) villians but in the future. Also both of their "future" settings are very generic and boring flying car here red and green colored skyscrapers and stuff there. I will give the Spider-Man 2099 series a try because if the series does well maybe Marvel will make a whole sort of timeline dedicated to 2099 heroes with a 2099 Iron Man or the same Wolverine because of his aging process a whole universe of superheroes in 2099 i would read.

I guess Spider-man 2099 travelled back in time from past 1999 to 1992. That is the only way Spider-man 2099 could have ripped of Batman Beyond since Batman Beyond came out 7 years later than Spider-man 2099.

@thewalkingdeadpool18: Spider-man 2099 had its first issue come out in the year 1992, so it cannot be a Batman Beyond ripoff. There was a whole universe of superheroes from 2099 back in the early 90s. Hulk, Ghost Rider, X-men, Dr. Doom, just to name a few. I still have a good number of those original books. I would go look up the 2099 universe on here and learn about it.
