Wow, the hate is strong for this. I actually think it looks pretty good. I do think there m ay be a bit too much armor on most of them though. Wonder what the final cast will look like.

Well anyway, I would like to see Grundy, one of my favorite villains officially in New-52 soon, hopefully with not too much of his origin changed, and make him a Supes or a GL villain because unlike this game portrays here, he'd rip Batman's head off and would be better off not part of Bruce's rogue gallery.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's funny, one of my friends is a huge Marvel fan and only really knows Superman, Batman from DC. But not much about Grundy and other characters, so he asks me why is there a Hulk ripoff in the game? lol I'm like dude, Grundy is nothing like Hulk. Oh yeah, well there were times in the comics where Batman held his own against Grundy, and I think that one DC original movie Batman was nearly drowned by Grundy and then woke up and kicked his butt, but out of fairness Grundy was also being controlled by Gorilla Grodd via telepathy. There's also different versions of Grundy too, wasn't there a magical version that was like nearly impossible to stop? Then the regular grundy. But yeah, I'm sure DC and MK writers will explain it since they're working together, probably something to give certain people like Batman super power or super armor enhancing his strength or something. I'm hoping Doomsday, Martian Manhunter are in the game!!

Everything's got to be 'photorealistic' and 'darker' and 'badass', these days, ooh. Things should make more sense in the comic book world cause 'were the realist generation, f*** yeah!' Eh, I suppose it's about preference ultimately. Me, personally I can't stand fighters that look like I'm watching an anime while giving me seizures and migraines lol. Plus, something about NRS style and DCU in general blend together, take Dark Knight for example and the many darker JL, Superman stories. It's why I like it I suppose. To each his own though.

Damn, some folks want like every character from DCU in this lol. It's not like MK or SF where there's only 64-70 characters max. I've noticed DC and Marvel have like hundreds of them lol. No way that they're all making it but I think the iconic, popular and cool ones will make it. I just want Martian Manhunter, Doomsday, Zod and hopefully(but I doubt it) Spectre! He'd wreck everyone let's face it lol. I'd like to see Bizarro in it, having opposite moves of Superman or unless they take the alternate costumes route and give him Bizarro's look. I'll bet mr. Freeze or cap cold are in it, they need a Sub-Zero like character.

I wouldn't worry that much, I think it looks more like Dark Knight mixed with new 52 mixed with hints of Arkam City with the armor personally. I like it. Although I definitely don't agree that it looks like the 97 Batman & Robin costume lol, that costume sucked and had nipples. This looks way more badass to me.

But in an interview with NRS forget which video but they confirmed alternate costumes hehe, so don't be surprised if you see like 3 or 4 different costumes per character like they did in MK9. I'm pumped!

@EuanLauder: it would be super cool if they had alternate costumes from the Multiverse. Ultra Man, President Superman, Kingdom Come Superman, etc.

Really excited to play this but i despise the costumes right now. Hopefully you can choose alternate ones

Not a game where you have Superman fighting Harley Quinn anyway.

lol... didn't think of it that way, wonder why no one has any beef with that.... by the way keeping in mind the title, do u think they will have fatalities for the heroes this time around? i mean most of the heroic brutalities were lame..besides theres nothin "heroic" about brutalities ;)

I, being a Redhood fan, would love to see Jason pop up, especially in this kind of universe where killing and darkness are accepted, even if he's just a reskin of Nightwing. Either way I'm sure that Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Deathstroke, SHAZAM, Aquaman and even Green Arrow are extremely plausible.

My only concern with this game is that from what we see here, it looks like Mortal Kombat Vs DC without Mortal Kombat. From the description of the game and the mechanics they put in I hope it's more like a sandbox game, where we can freely roam the city or whatever areas we're given, while in combat with our opponent. Something like (Insert First Person Shooter Name Here)'s multiplayer, but with our favorite heroes. I really hope it isn't just hopping from stage to stage, always looking on at the characters profiles like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Marvel Vs Capcom, and basically any other fighter. I also really hope there's a coherent plot to this game and not just putting you as a character you select and then throwing you up against Batman who's turned evil for no reason, then Grundy who's there for no reason, then Harley who is harder than Batman for no reason. There are a lot of ways this could go. I trust the game creators to give us a wonderful experience. That's all I had to say.

The game will have an in depth story mode, alt. costumes on the disk but free roaming is a bit too hopeful. Also I'm glad to see so many people supporting Cyborg.

Looks good, wonder if the scenes are actual fight scenes or just trailer type. If they are actual it would be fun to throw people thru buildings and into space. Even if its just the "Fatality" or finishing moves that would be awesome.

Might give it a blast when Its come down in price.

The graphics look really great

I would like Hal, Sinestro, and Atrocitus. That'll pay for itself. Though, I wish Capcom were doing DC fighting games. 3d rendered fighters are just ugly. The Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Ultimate style is the best IMO.

i don't think "batman kicking solomon grundy through a wall" shoud be a reason to dislike the game.. its just mechanics...i mean chris redfield was punching the hulk around in MvC3

its going to be hard for them not to overload the roster with the Batfamily, but pitting Red Hood vs Nightwing or Batman would be pretty damn great.

im so psyched for this game! ive been desperately hoping for a new DC fighting game. Grundy looks awesome. love how he can pull weapons out of his zombie body and use them on his opponents.

you can bet Cyborg will be included as DC has been pushing him to "A list" status in the New 52. im sure the people at DC (Johns) have some say as to who is on the roster. i think Blue Beetle's powers would make him super fun to play as. let the scarab cut loose. hope he's included.

hearing that there will be alternate costumes makes this even better.

Heroes: Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern (Different Skins for Each of the Earth Ones), Cyborg, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, SHAZAM are the main ones. Although more obscure choices would be nice I could go for Azrael. Obviously Nightwing and Red Hood. Blue Beetle and Static.

Villain Wise: Bane, Black Manta and Deathstroke are musts.

Why's Supe's and Bat's fighting Flash..? Seems a little unfair. Other wise I'm looking forward to this.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this essential MK vs DC w/o the MK?

Mortal Kombat was great, and I'm sure this will be too, but does anyone else not like the Flash being in that armor? I don't know. It looks a little weird to me. Like I said, I think this game looks really cool though.

I'm all on board!:) Mortal Kombat 9 was great and NeatherRealm has made a believer out of me. The costumes are easily fixed via DLC.

I kind of like the Batman's and Flash costume, but the rest suck.
