Don't be a creeper in the window like Batman, come on in and join the Quest party! In between caroling, present wrapping, and general bouts of holiday cheer, the Comic Vine staff thought up a new Quest for you brave souls: The 12 Days of Whiskey. For those of you familiar with our Quest system, this challenge will seem pretty straightforward. But here's the catch: every day for the next 12 days we'll be launching a new step in the Quest challenge - each day counting down to 1, Christmas Eve. 12 Days, 12 Quests.
In addition to Comic Vine, we're running Quests over at sister sites Screened and Giant Bomb, so be sure to flex your mental muscles over there as well and earn some of that sweet, sweet XP.
This wouldn't be the first quest set which was bugged only for certain users. I had the same problem with another one a long time ago with mods responding to a post or something of that nature. Some times things just don't work in this digital world. I tried everyday since wed last week to get that stupid quest. Then I finally saw other people were having the same problem. It made me feal less "bad" about it.

Many of us did do that, like 20 times lol, not just that but every West Coast Avenger and every lethal Legion member, and all the characters on both issue #1 West Coast Avengers pages. Multiple times. There was definitely something buggy about one of the pages preventing completion. "

Yeah, for the majority it probably worked. There were just about 8 of us, I definitely know had some problems, for whatever reasons. Maybe it was a day or time thing. Anyway its cool, I just wish maybe it wasn't a limited quest especially at this time of the year when it was hard finding people to question about this (which is understandable)
It makes me really sad that i will always be remembered that i dont finish the 12 Days Quest because that set will not vanish from my summary site *sniff*

Side note that involves quests, kind of. I started a thread regarding SEARCH options. Do a search for the word "searching" and it should be the first result. Please provide your opinions, and maybe the site might be changed a little
@Neverpraying: Yeah, I heard that there a few bugs like in the West Coast Avengers one.I believe that it could have been completed. We were 350 people and if they had left it, I think we could do it.
Also find that to be silly that screened and comicvine had the almost the exact same number of people finish the set yesterday but comicvine wanted 500 people and screened wanted 300. Plus some of the Comicvine quests were bugged. Mix that with the holidays, and there is no way we could have gotten 500 people. I personally think they should just do, who ever finishes this quest by this date will get bonus exp <.<
Yeah... the last one was Superman!!! Sad isn't it!!! This whole quest set was so screwed up with the timing and everything!!! Almost all of the quests didn't open until late in the afternoon!!!! We should have gotten an extension... but since I already finished all of the quests (barely).... it doesn't matter!!! But take a note for next time quest setters..... Make sure the timing is set on time!!!!!!!
I didn't even get a chance to do the last day of the quest because I was too busy to get on the computer all day. Was the answer Superman? I'll never know...
@ComicMan24: eh the quest sets on all the Whiskey sites are not down yet at least, only the challenges, even so I am happy to get the extra exp, and a limited edition quest in the bag, hehe I just finished the screened quest set. (6 am here, 5 am at the Whiskey media HQ) I did both giant bomb's quest set and Screened's sets today, which was hmm might I saying interesting :P
F that. Yesterday's quest didn't go up until the afternoon eastern standard time. They didn't even allow 24 hours for people to finish the quest, specifically during the few days they're busiest.
At the very least they need to follow a general time table when starting/ending time sensitive quests. Their inconsistency is their problem, not ours.
