New Mutants #1, Can They Still Be Called "New"?

Who're you calling a turd??  And yes.  If you read through the whole thread, Legion has been mentioned several times already. 

As much as I would like to see Warlock back, it wouldn't be the same without Doug... and as much as I loved Doug, I wouldn't want them to resurrect him & cheapen his sacrifice (even if it did give Rahne even more angst).

Dani...isnt dead shes just comatose...unless i read something wrong lmao. But yeah bring em back as Warlock or Cypher if your not going to do both. And boomboom would be badass if she hadnt just died in X-Force. Rictor...meh, Rusty...meh, Skids yeah that would be nice havnt seen or heard from her in a while"

Yeah alright i get what ya mean. Skids should by this time be badass enough to come back to comics. Maybe shes in comic limbo till they reveal something cool

Hell look at Mimic in Dark Xmen he was in 616 limbo forever

last i remember seeing her was in Uncanny 491, right before Polaris, Havok, and Rachel were lost in space.

i could do without Mimic indefinitely.

Really? well i havnt been following Xmen at all since Messiah Complex

i lied, those issues she was in was the arc, literally, right before Messiah.

Skids? Yeah she was with the Morlocks again during the Extremeists/Endangered Species arc.  For the life of me, I don't know why she returned underground.

I liked the reference that the group is now their own team of X-Men. I think The New Mutants title merely adds to the nostalgia associated with their original run.

I don't the idea of this book. Half of these characters have been X-Men already so theres nothing NEW about them anymore. I loved the original series but it seems like their beating a dead horse now. For a company that claims to be all about change they have a hard time showing it. All these characters should be X-Men now.
