New KICK-ASS Posters

Graffiti splatter in four colors...

I think my interest in amateur vigilantism has been revived. I might try it out one of these weekends. Four new one-sheets promoting KICK-ASS have dropped today and they’re continuing that whole cool graffiti splatter motif that’s been running throughout the ad campaign. So count ‘em off...

WHAT'S THAT SPELL?!!?!

Putting my graphic design hat on for a minute here, I’ll voice my appreciation for the look of this ad campaign. It’s got a very in-your-face early 90s vibe - - something you can picture hanging on your wall while you were actually watching music videos on MTV (a bygone era that probably sounds like a myth to anybody born after ’93). Who’s with me here, oh splattered Comic Vine community?

Also, I didn’t realize until today that J. Gordon Levitt’s little sister from (500) DAYS OF SUMMER is playing Hit Girl.  Her performance as a precious 11-year-old relationship expert was definitely one of the stand-outs in that movie. Also, I'll reiterate that Zoeey Deschanel needs to win the MTV Movie Award for Best Villain for that. More terrifying than the Joker! More chilling than Venom!
