I get the symbiote is from space so that could be an interesting thing to explore but Venom is such a bad fit for GoTG.

Not sure how I feel about this. Especially the timing of it. Couldn't they have let us be surprised or learn the ending of the Superior arc without them spoiling it in advance?

Half upset that Venom goes back to Agent Venom (I'm missing regular Venom a bit) but I'm also looking forward to this because this opens up a lot of new ways to tell Venom stories.

Oh, I get it! The symbiote is alien, so maybe Flash is going to Venom's homeworld for...some kind of reason. eh, I don't know, I'll just see how it goes.

Venom and Cap are a far better fit for the GotG than stupid Iron Man but there is still no need to keep jamming earth characters on to the team

I think this idea would sound better if the symbiote left Flash and took a new host with a less humanoid form. It would be unfortunate if too many humans filled up the Guardians ranks, none the less this sounds interesting.

Gamora, Groot, and Rocket are all aliens

and Starlord is the half

Drax isn't technically human

Carol is half Kree though originally human

and the Symbiote is alien

so if you tally that all up you're up to 4 full aliens, one human, 2 half aliens and whatever you want to call Drax

Glad the teams getting more firepower, although it feels wired to see venom with them but I keep forgetting the symbiote is from space

Marvel actually cares about promoting them now, so they need to add some better-known characters.

@danhimself: Rocket is a RACCOON, he is not from some anthropomorphic race of alien Raccoons he's was just a Raccoon. Drax is indescribable so I'll just leave him as human and I don't think powers should count, that like saying The Thing is an alien because he was hit by cosmic rays, so Carol and Flash are counted as human, so my count is still accurate.

No he isn't and i'd rather they use other ways to promote them than forcing characters on the team.

the symbiote has a consciousness and can act on it's own free will and is from another planet...alien

again...no matter what you think it's been stated in Marvel comics that Carol has half human half Kree dna...she's no longer considered human

@danhimself: Carol Danvers was born and raised on Earth as a human, Peter Quill was half alien his entire life like I said with the Thing, is the Thing an alien now or is a human with super powers that has an alien origin. also Marvel's database says's she's a mutate or Meta human.

He looks a little like a raccoon. He does not act like a raccoon at all. Last time I checked, raccoons didn't wear clothes, shoot guns, talk, fly spaceships, or walk on two legs constantly. You're just being purposefully dense.
