After the second episode of Gotham was aired last night (click here for the recap and review), Fox released a trailer for the upcoming season of Gotham and it is full of familiar faces. The 2-minute trailer runs viewers through upcoming episodes and comic book fans are going to recognize a few. Check out the trailer below to see what we're talking about.
First and foremost, Victor Zsasz is here and looks like he'll have a big role in one of the episodes. Also, it looks like he'll be carving some more marks into his arms as well. To those who aren't familiar with Zsasz, every time he kills someone, he makes an etch in his arm. He's pretty well featured in the trailer, so let's move onto people who we only caught a glimpse of.
Quite a few people are saying this is Scarecrow. I'm going out on a limb and saying "you're wrong." The person kidnapping all the homeless kids in episode two was Dollmaker, and based on that story line that was set-up, I'm saying that this right here is in fact the Dollmaker, who looks pretty dang creepy. Could this be Scarecrow? Maybe, but Dollmaker makes much more sense for what was set-up. Also, he has a kid held captive in this quick scene. One he probably skin.
Salvatore Maroni is here! This is the guy who scarred Harvey Dent and turned him into Two Face. He'll be making a play for power against the Falcones.It's awesome to see David Zayas playing him as well. I'm probably most excited for this over anything else.
It was so quick, but this is totally Professor Pyg, right? Or is it just a guy in a mask? Pyg could work on this show, if you made him darker and more of a serial killer rather than part of The Circus of Strange. We'll see
