New Episodes of Naruto Available Days After Japan Release

Good news for Naruto fans!

Looks like Viz is working on keeping viewers in Japan and the U.S. caught up on new episodes of Naruto Shippuden.  Starting on January 15th, an English subtitled episode will be available for free viewing on the official Naruto website, www.naruto.com.  This will be days within of the original Japan airdate.  A new English-subtitled episode will be added to the site every Thursday.

Also, starting on January 2nd, 8 uncut English-subtitled episodes from the beginning of the series will be added.  Each Friday following, 8 more episodes will be added until they are caught up to the third season.

As far as the manga series goes, Viz is pushing forward with their publishing schedule to get the new editions available in North America as soon as possible.  In Feburary 2009, 11 new volumes will be released (volumes 24 to 44).
