@fhiz: I would think that in the timeline this game takes place that it would be a little early for her to show up in any meaningful way. I could be wrong though. From a trailer I saw the other day it looked like Gordon and Batman weren't even friendly at this point in Bruce's career.

Well, there was this bit at the SDCC panel:

"When asked about Robin/Batgirl: Robin does not exist -- Batman works alone. This is "Year Two" of his career. As for Batgirl...'we'll have to see the game to find out more.'"

Barbara appearing in the game doesn't mean she has a big role, she might just guest star, and the producers of the game hinted at her presence so, will se tomorrow.

My first gut instinct said Harper Row. Not sure why and it would make absolutely no sense.

I don't see how anyone is getting Babs from that image....the very first thing that came to mind was Lady Blackhawk for me

I saw the bird and thought Birds of Prey. But then I realized they most likely couldn't be around at this time.

Keep in mind Babs is Oracle is in the other two Arkham games. So it wouldn't surprise me if they introduce her as Batgirl in Origins.

I was all set on Blackhawks until I saw that Birds of Prey cover...kind of wish it was Blackhawks still.

i think its babs.... i noticed a small hint of red hair in the pic.... like every1 said so far, she's probably not gonna play a big role in the game.... she could be just the reason gordon begins working with batman after being kidnapped for example...

It's definitely Barbara. Plus, they just posted this new image of the girl and we can clearly see her RED hair. It also only makes sense for it to be Barbara if anyone from the Birds of Prey was going to appear this early in Batman's career.
