New Avengers #53, A New Sorcerer Supreme?

G-Man you're not into "Magic"... no wonder you don't appreciate me.

1. Doc Starnge may be given another chance, but I doubt it. 2. I think The Hood is going to beat the crap out of the so called "New" SS. and 3. They could make a good couple Lol!

Sorcerer Supreme. It's a tongue twister, indeed.

I loved this issue, Bendis is the king of team dialogue.

The only thing I really get bothered by is the fact that Luke Cage is jealous of Spiderman. It was high school, I mean seriously its not like they even hooked up. Spiderman didn't even remeber going to school with her. He's Luke F'N Cage man. He's not suppose to be jealous of other dudes, other dudes are suppose to be jealous of him. Anyway, the last panel was EPIC!!! Finally my boy is getting his mojo back.

Obviously the two of us care ;)

I don't like how Bendis portrayed Bucky in this issue. I mean he's been Cap for a while and he has interacted with other heroes in the skrull invasion, so i'm pretty sure he knows that the other avengers don't need guns. Plus sense when does he carry around a bunch of guns other than his pistol?

If I'm right, then the new sorcerer is .... _____ _____

It should be Enchantress or Nico Minoru .... or someone else!

I think that ultimately, Dr. Strange will get the mantel of "SS" back.  I'm smelling a series coming soon that was meant soley for that reason.  Maybe part of how Bendis ties up Dark Reign.  Or, it could be further down the road.  Good issue.  You can't beat the banter between the NAs.

I just want to get out of this magic stuff, they need to be fighting Osborn

I do not WANT Strange to get the mantle back.  The person who got it deserves it.  After all the long drawn out crap over who would win, I will admit that he was a surprise, but seriously, he's one of the most unique characters with potential that has yet to be fully tapped. 

Haven't read it yet... I get it tomorrow.

I like the story.. its interesting..

I was glad to see wiccan was in the last issue.. but I don't see him being Sorcerer Supreme.. idk.. i guess i'll find out (hopefully?)

P.S. I think the dialogue/script is fantastic. The art is pretty kick ass too... idk... its better than Uncanny X-men right now.

I don't read many Marvel titles, in fact I think I have only been picking up Wolverine, but isn't Ms. Marvel dead or gone or something how is she still in this comic?

in Marvel comics 'canon' is a misspelling of the word 'cannon' and otherwise has no meaning.

After rereading the New Avengers issues that lead into the Elektra Skrull thing, I can say I wasn't surprised by it being Brother Voodoo.

Whatever happen to Bendis Infamous return of the thought bubbles in his books? did he give up already? Im pretty sure everyone on the team has tons of things to think of, to me they were working out very well in the early Mighty Avengers books.

Should have stayed Dr Strange. You don't see Spider-Man, or Iron Man getting swapped out. Should have stayed Strange. Now he gets lobbed on the bonfire and ignored for fifteen years because nobody gets him anymore.

i hope he doesn't get the title back at all to be honest.  but i'm the kind of fan who likes it when a change is an actual change, and everything doesn't just go back to before, or come back alive, or whatever.  doctor strange could still be a perfectly interesting character without the sorcerer supreme title.  like an occult detective or something, or the new ancient one.
