Where exactly is the ends of the Earth anyway?

The news for Spider-Man keeps getting worse and worse. So far this week we've seen Doc Ock's plan of attack as well as Electro's attack. Today, Marvel has released another teaser for the upcoming story Ends of the Earth. This time, Mysterio is making his move on Spider-Man.

The next big Spider-Man epic begins in Amazing Spider-Man #682, part one of Ends Of The Earth, by Dan Slott and Stefano Caselli! The Sinister Six, led by the vengeful Doctor Octopus, is back and they’re looking for revenge!

“What would happen if Mysterio finally pulled off his greatest special effect?” asks Slott. “What happens to the showman of crime when the show's over?”

I wish Mysterio was the villain (or shocker/electro) in The Amazing Spiderman.

Makes more sense to have an actual criminal in the first movie to have Spidey actually fighting crime in his first installment. Then become publicly known and then The Daily Bugle could make him seem like a criminal himself etc..

Idunno, I like where they're going with TASM, but it wouldn't have been my first choice.

@haydenclaireheroes: Just the Sinister Six. The deadliest of Spidey foes. Pretty much the buildup Doc Ock has been planning since the beginning of Big time and end of Origin of Species.

My favorite version of mysterio is the one from the spectacular spiderman cartoon. I love this artist doing the covers for this arc. pretty cools

@mr.obvious: there's a lot of mistakes with mysterio... he died in Daredevil but kept appearing in Spider-Man after he died. They eventually settled for a replacement Mysterio and another one... I remember in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man where the dead Mysterio as a demon and an agent of Mephisto. Then they just decided to bring him back to life.
