I think storm will wins, but thor is a god and she a goddess mutant, but i think storm because thor did lose in this battle for the emma frost with phoenix , and storm did wins the dark phoenix , but... let's see what will ....

Iceman 1 shots Spiderman

These matchups are ridiculous.

Wrong in both. If we were thinking smartly.. but comics have been known to have ridiculous outcomes.

Iceman slaughters spidy no problems but Thor wins with little trouble .

He has beaten people with stronger powers, so don't count him out. with Storm vs Thor, I'd say Storm, cause Thor is more about brute strength, and usually that doesn't work. I can't wait to see more matchups

Could be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure in the issue before last of Amazing Spidey, Pete mentions he gave the stealth suit to Kaine, so that would make your argument invalid. Wanna say its in the panel where he and Carlie break into the morgue...

Honestly, everyone is being incredibly negative towards Marvel lately. Yes, they do too many event books, but is DC really any different revamping their entire universe for about the third or fourth time? It's all about money. It's their job. Their trying to make people spend more money. It's why Marvel and DC do what they do. More related to the actual topic at hand, Iceman would destroy Spider-Man but Marvel won't let that happen because all the Spidey fans would shit their pants if Spidey lost. It's not about who'd realistically win, it's about who the fans want to win. Storm vs. Thor = Thor, but why Thor. Isn't he dead. Ten to one, this is just a big P.R. stunt and Thor won't even be in this saga. Then again, they may bring him back even faster than they brought back Human Torch. OH AND BY THE WAY. Storm. WTF? She's married, she's the queen of Wakanda, which is in Africa. Does she EVER see her husband? She's in the Avengers AND the X-Men now. Now that the Black Panthers book is being cancelled, Marvel should remove Storm to a background role. Show her in books that happen in Wakanda and call it a day. Stop focusing on the tried and true for the last 40 years and try someone new. Give Boom-Boom a shot at the X-Men for all I care.

I think Iceman and Thor take these.

@Edgeworth_11: I was thinking more along the lines of outsmarting ice man its kinda like that time when he went up up aginst venom & lured him close to a space station knowing the sounds would weaken him. If spidey fought him he probably wouldnt fight him toe to toe more like use something around him & the environment to try and get a victory or play keep away and swope in time to time to hit him. spidey does hit hard

& logically anyone capable of lifting anything above 1 ton should have the abilty to rip your head off a ton is alot of weight. i dont even think cars weigh that much. not saying hes gonna rip ice mans head off but just pointing out that those are some strong punches

You dont know how, when and where these fights happen. there are more ways how to win a fight than just having bigger raw power. and anyone who reads superheros knows that power levels in the end are not what define the outcome. Iceman and Thor have higher probability to win, does this mean they'll win for sure? no. Does this mean the artists cant go crazy and create some stellar action scenes? no. And dont forget many of these fights wont be pushed to the bitter end. If a guy like Iceman wants to end it, nobody can do anything. But it is hard to imagine Bobby wanting to kill Peter.

and LOL at people who fail to understand why would they fight. It is january, guys, and the story starts in April and will go for 12 issues. A lot of story can happen and it will be showed why, where and when they'll fight. no need to whine

I thought Webs and Ice were friends. And surely if that Ulif posed as Tanarus, could it be Ragnarok, either way Storm only has wind and lightning which his hammer or he has control over. One whack from that and she's a goner.

@DATNIGGA: Yes, Spidy has taken down some powerful opponents, but unless he is jobbing, this is a fight Iceman can't lose. Here he is creating multiple Icemen recently.

@lectriccolossus: spiderman was a solo hero who on may occasions has taken down multipule villains by himself. where as ice man has been a group hero team work is easier than solo work.

@Edgeworth_11: spiderman has taken some powerful people down. most of his enemys are stronger than him anyway spiderman is super agile plus spider sense and kungfu its basically like fighting a super human ninja. and ice man may be an omega level mutant but the only time hes shown power of that level was when emma possessed him & used his powers to there limitless potential. also there freinds... so that could play a role on how the fight ends

Hmm, Psylocke and Widow? I don't really see Black Widow beating Psylocke. Logically Psylocke should have a strong advantage over Black Widow considering she has mutant power and martial arts abilities. Black Widow has the fighting skill, but unless Psylocke is careless or stupid, I don't see Black Widow beating her.

yeah they do thor will be coming back in his own book the month before this event starts in the last issue he just powered himself up enough to try and escape from being devoured by the demogorge (a gigantic cosmic being who devours the souls of dead and forgotten gods) while the Troll Warlord ulik poses in his place as Tanarus the god of thunder his master Karnilla having replaced thor in evreyones memory with tanarus

Even I agree that those are so bad match-ups.

How on Earth does Spidey have the upper hand without Bobby completely jobbing? It takes an incredible amount of force to so much as KO Bobby and now he can create the multiple bodies. There's really nothing (short of exponentially large PIS) that would grant Peter the win over him.

Spider-man won't beat Iceman. He just... Won't. At least, not if it is being written well. The MOST he can hope for is a stalemate, and that would only happen if Spidey appeals to Iceman as an old friend and they just STOP.

Thor beats Storm. He does what she does on a bigger scale.

Iceman with he x-men ? But he is in winchester no ? Why would he fight alongside with the dumbmen ?

Marvel in sinking since some years, too much event for nothing and with no imagination. Avengers vs x-men ? And you expect stark not having some nanite inhibiter made of plastic that would erase all chance of win for the mutant ? He already used this kind of technology, i don't see why he can't this time.

The logic used in that response make me kind of pissed, that is what I don't like about the way writers write the Captain America.

But you are kind of right in one thing, they would look for an excuce to give us an unexpected win, deus ex machima, plot device or another thing.
