Moon Knight #3 Preview Features Bullseye and a Sexy Special Guest

Bendis and Maleev can't get enough of Bullseye—but why is Daredevil's nemesis in LA?

Have you been reading Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's new Moon Knight series? Issue #2 came out yesterday (reviewed here) and the craziness continues. Of course by 'craziness,' I'm not just talking about the action.

Moon Knight has always been a complex character. he's juggled different personas for years and it looks like it's finally caught up to him. If you've been reading, you know that Moon Knight has relocated to Los Angeles. Given what some people say about L.A., he should fit in perfectly, right?

More importantly, this is a great move because it allows the Marvel Universe to finally expand further beyond New York City. Sure, we've seen other locations but we don't often get a major title set outside of New York.

If you haven't been reading this series so far, I'm going to reveal something that I've already alluded to, Moon Knight is pretty crazy. He's seeing things in his head. This is affecting the way he fights. In some ways, that's a good thing. It's given him new ways to take on his enemies. In other ways, it seems he may not be at the same level of being able to kick ass as he was just a little while ago in the pages of Secret Avengers.

In issue #2, he is getting closer to discovering who the new mysterious kingpin of LA is and has a stunning and familiar ally. But check out the cover for issue #3. Is that really Bullseye and what does it mean for Moon Knight and his new friend? Perhaps the preview pages will give us some indication?

== TEASER ==

Issue #3 is on sale July 20, 2011.

Bullseye is a perfect villain for Moonknight to face.  Pretty much any of D.D.'s villains are

Isn't Bullseye dead? I'm not being cute but wasn't he killed by Daredevil and then NOT resurrected by The Hand?

If at the end of the day everything that happens in the book is all in moon knight's head, then what the hell's the point of the book?

Yeah, i believe it, hopefully moon knight doesn't end up as hated as the sentry became.

@Wattup: When has death ever stopped a character from appearing in another book?

To make cash off of a character that deserves better.

It is Echo. I'm so glad that she is being used again. Absolutely loved her in DD and New Avengers.

True enough. I suppose my point was that Bullseye's death was the whole catalyst to demonic Daredevil in Shadowland and with DD's return to New York imminent, I would have thought they would have treated the character's return (if it is indeed the real Bullseye) with a bit more importance.

This is wierd. Bendis even mentioned the MGH, which was huge on his Daredevil run.

You forgot "to urinate in the faces of long time fans and crave the praise of imbeciles".

Art style is very.... retro??

um yeah, that's not Bullseye.  Anyone who thinks it is must not have read the first two issues.

I'm loving where this Moon Knight series is turning out...

That Bullseye cover is awesome

At least this will really separate him from Batman, but that's all I'm saying.

Also, notice how hardcore Daredevil fans got pissed about Bendis' run but everyone else loved it? Same is happening to Moon Knight.

I didn't get pissed at Bendis' run at all. I love Daredevil.

You clearly don't know what you are talking about, it isn't all in his head.
Posted by VenomMelendez

If anyone can bring back Bullseye, it's Count Neferia.

Posted by warcorpse
@VenomMelendez: His "personalities" ARE in his head. I mistakenly said everything but i meant his personalities are in his head and that is a completely shit idea.

He already was a completely different character aside from the appearance of certain aspects of him (gear - having a butler/mansion). Only idiots who don't know anything about Moon Knight thought he was Batman's ripoff.
