@Sleepbutnodream15: i agree completely with the first half of your comment because bendis has confirmed to be using new mutants and there needs to be another book so the separate teams get focus. this will most likely be the remains extinction team. and in my opinion there should be only be one uncanny book and it should be uncanny x-men, one of marvel's longest running books until 2011 when it was cancelled and then relaunched and then cancelled again. but i like bachalo's art because he was doing the art for one of my first issues of x-men so it's kind of nostalgic though i can see why you wouldn't like it, it is a little chaotic.

@Sleepbutnodream15: i know there are so many characters so it makes to have different teams with different characters and a different plot.

I hope Hope is on this team! I don't want to see her dropped off now that she fulfilled her purpose!

That last page of Consequences this week worries me a lot :(

After what happens in AvX consequence # 4, im sure this is definitely a new uncanny x-men. and with bachalo as art, then this is definitely a must have for me!!

I am not a big fan of Bachelo's art =(

@hawkgirl96: Yeah, I don't like how they JUST started a new volume of Uncanny at the end of 2011, ending it, and then starting another one! And about Bachalo, I will say that I sometimes like some of his artwork on certain characters.

Can we get Mike Deodato on this book instead of Bachalo? Anyone know if he's on any NOW books?

Well think about it.

Cullen Bunn, who wrote The Fearless mini, ends the book with the three Asgardian maidens instructing Valkyrie that a day will come where she will gather 8 Midgard females to fight off a threat now that the other 8 Valkyries left to fight in the other 8 realms. Seeing how it's the same tag, and Marvel did say a big female hero book was coming, I'm pretty certain that this is that.

ah that very possible then but he hasnt written a team book for marvel for while though. we already have female lead team book. it sounds like that idea will be far from Marvel Now verse though

I I live to be one million years old i'll never understand the Bendis hate. He elevated Avengers to what it is now.. Without him we'd probably not have got the Avengers movie we have. He can write teams.

But yeah. This is an X-book with Cyclops.

WHAT? I hate this. They're waaay too many Avenger and X-men books. Introduce new characters Marvel! Or write about ones you haven't written about in a while...I'm tired of mainstream characters getting more than 3 books

just read avx consequences number 4 and i was thinking of a title for the group to have. since they are the extinction team "Team X-tinction" but now this. so now we have 3 uncanny titles. would have preferred something more unique but just glad for them to have their own title. if only colossus and storm would join it would be perfect!!!

Fear not, in the All New X-men preview, Cyclops team is shown working with soldiers and government forces salving people.

The problem with Bendis is he has probably the WORST pacing of any writer on any comic I've ever read. This guy will do 5 issues of nothing but dialogue and then on the 6th issue its like he just remembered he has to wrap the story. So instead of grand battles you get five issues of Kevin Smith-esque witty dialogue and then a crappy fight to wrap it up. Rinse and Repeat.

@Cafeterialoca: That's not Mike Deodato! It doesn't even look close to his style; he didn't work on the Fearless! Check out any issues from the most current volume of New Avengers. That's all Mike D. It's beautfiul. Here's some of his recent work.

@Lokheit: Umm we may have different interpretations of the preview. I look at it as if the cops are trying to hurt the new mutant and Cyclops and the team are trying to defend him.

Totally excited for this creative team. Loved Bachalo on WATXM. Do think Cyclops should have stayed in jail for a period though, feels like a short character death all over again.

Loved Bachalo's art on Wolverine and the X-Men. I do kinda hope it will be Uncanny X-Men and Bachalo always seems to suit best on an X title if you ask me.

Mike Deodato can be good at times, but look at his Squirrel Girl panels, or the Mockingbird talking to the camera. He traces the Poser program. And his boobs and asses are TOO big.

I completely disagree with you. He makes the women look well endowed and hot, but not abnormally (by the comic book standard). You also keep talking about how he traces and uses the 'poser program' and 'poser model', what does that even mean?

Doesn't look that bad.Let's hope that Bendis will actually do something cool.
