Great looking cover!  Probably going to get this one!

I'd rather find out what happened on the day Joe Quesada decided it was a good idea that Spider-man make a deal with the devil.

 I really hope this is the start of undoing this crap. I re-read #458-544. Stories where sweet and brilliant. Re-read 545-current. I didn't even want to read them. They where all awful. Almost anyway...

Does it really matter why the wedding didn't happen? Since it all comes down to Mephisto it's not like this will show what their "true" feelings are. Now if Joe Q left his "Leave It to Beaver" code of conduct back in TV Land, MJ and Peter could've gotten divorced. Then we would be seeing some genuine emotion.

The Gauntlet has been pretty good and Grim Hunt has been great as well.  Let's hope Joe Q leaves Spidey alone for good after this arc.

" One of the things that really bothered me about the OMD/BND storyline (there are a lot), is that Peter Parker has always been seen as this normal kinda guy who has to deal with everyday problems, ie. he was a high school student, he can't afford rent, etc.  So if Quesada didn't want Peter and MJ together (which is just stupid, btw)  why not just have them get a divorce?  How much more normal can you get?!  50% of Americans do it all the time!  But instead he just rewrites their whole history and puts Spidey pretty much back at square one.  Yawn.    "

After OMD I dropped ASM till #600, and The Gauntlet and Grim Hunt made me almost forget about Quesada's "it's magic! we don't have to explain it"  line.  I just hope he doesn't kill the story even more than he already has.  Honestly there was no reason or need for OMD/BND, just because he says his best years were before he got married doesn't mean it applies to everything.  Let's  break up one of the most iconic relationships in comics.  Yay!

OK, the cover is cool and a nice homage, but what... they're gonna say that MJ just up and left on her wedding day? Despite it being one of the most pivotal moments the character had ever been through? 
  
Joe Quesada just keeps digging himself a deeper grave amongst comic fans with every new release.
