Marvel Teases More Possible Deaths in 'Age of Ultron'

This is obviously an alternate universe, maybe the future where Ultron wins and these Avengers are the resistance...could be interesting...or not, I'll check it out.

Shouldn't it be labelled as 'Deaths' ? You know because Marvel only keeps folks dead so long as profit margins don't demand the 'rebirfibrilator'.

considering the book is gonna include time travel and the apparently in the first couple of issues most of heroes of earth fall and ultron conquers new york, i reckon alot of characters will die, but only in the sense that time travel will fix it.

maybe marvel will use timetravel to start all over... New 52NOW! instead of attempting to shoe horn changes in too conform to Disney demands

Ugh, so not looking forward to an event that is promising lots of death. I didn't like it with Avengers Arena, and I'm not going to like it here.

And let me guess, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, Cap and Iron man all survive. Big whoop. Wake me up when those six are killed and Marvel can do something with new territory.

Fury is rocking Caps costume while rapidly aging, Cyclops, and Cable fused together becoming a composite entity. Wolverine is blind calling himself Daredevil, Wasp is borrowing Captain Marvels costume, Hulk+Thing are scarred which we've never seen, Star-Lord is rocking his old outfit; so What in the Blue Hell is so different about Strange in this photo?

sooooo wasp looks like she's wearing a modified version of the costume ms marvel is wearing now. Cap cyclops and black widow all seem to have lost an eye...and everyone else seems to be rocking similair stereotypical post apocalyptic looks...

It's Cap as Nick Fury and Cyclops as Cable and Wasp as Captain Marvel? Why is Starlord there he is like the worst character Major "Justice" Victory should just kill him and lead the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I think that should permanently be Steve Roger's look after this is all said and done. Widow gets all messed up too. From what everybody at Marvel is saying, this is not an alternate reality.

Throughout the X stories, there have been several "Ages:" Age of Apocalypse, Age of X and even House of M, (which I'm surprised they didn't name it Age of M) and I think this one is going to follow the same format. Not necessarily an alternative universe, but the Marvel 616 one that has been greatly affected and will have a need to be "put right." Yes, it's a story that has been told, but it's all a matter of how it is done...Age of X was great, as was House of M (although I realize some might disagree), personally I'm looking forward to this one as it's not going to be an all encompassing cross-over event that affects everything, but should be an enjoyable journey. Things will be "put back right" but with some consequences. It is always amusing to me how fans say they hate that stuff, but what do you want to read: a serial comic that nothing ever changes the status quo? How boring would that be!

Wait a second I am confised This takes place before Superior Spider-Man cause this spidey is still Peter. So if it is 616 universe how come Cap or Cyclops not changed in Captain America and All New X-Men ??? Does this take place after Captain America was trapped in Zola's dimension and before Superior Spider-Man??? Marvel universe really needs to correct their timeline.

I don't think Cable is Captain America here, Cable is combined with Cyclops(iron hand and one lazer eye) Cap is combined with Nick Fury Ms Marvel is combined with Wasp (middle of stomach is colored as Wasp) Wolverine is combined with Daredevil ( I am not sure about this, but Wolverine does wear belt with big red D) Hulk with Abomonation (Hulk's hand) I dont know who Thing, Doc Strange and the third guy(forgot his name) are combinations of

Marvel timeline ia pretty messed up. I suppose Captain America in Zemoqorld story arc happens after or during Superior Spider-Man, but this happened before Superior so why isn't Cap wearing and eye patch and having scars on his face in NOW is Zemoworld? And why doesn't Cyclops have an iron hand and one lazer eye in All New X-Men? So this has to be an alternate universe where two 616 heroes are combined into one. This can't be happening in 616 universe. (By the way does anybody know why is it called 616?)

I don't think that belt buckle looks like a D intentionally. I think the artist was making it contour to his body twisting. Wolverine already has heightened senses so being combined with DD would be redundant.

These redesigns are very uninspiring I was excited for Age of Ultron right up until I saw these. Half of these redesigns have been used before, except they look better than they do here. The only thing that saves it for me is Wasp/Quasar. The copycat that did these redesigns should "perish" from marvel comics.
