I bet it's a reference to the return of Nightcrawler and Amazing X-Men.

Could be a new series though because solicitations generally come out around that time of the month.

Vigilant eh? Well............................. sentries are vigilant. Yeah they're bringing Sentry back. If they DO properly bring him back, I want it to be done right. I mean I want him as a kind of Dr. Manhattan kind of figure, only intervening when required and not wasting his time on things every other hero could handle. He deals with the big cosmic threats and such. That's where the Sentry fell apart. They put a Superman into a world where the only villains powerful enough to challenge him in anyway are in space, not Earth.

Sentry could have worked. I just hope that if they do bring him back, they don't make the same mistakes with him.

I think that the Sentry would make quite a lot of sense and I also searched for few scans to back the claims up!

But why would they create a teaser for all of it? For now it looks like he is already a part of the Uncanny Avengers book and he'll probably stay in that book for many more months to come. Sentrys dialogue in the last two UA issues was intriguing and being vigilant would make a lot of sense, but I don't see what Marvel could announce for the Sentry to keep an eye on it .What do you think? @killemall

This - I agree very much with this man. If it is another event, the folks at Marvel's front offices only further show that they should be publicly tarred and feathered.

My money is on Nightcrawler also. The last Wolverine and the X-Men clearly exposed Nightcrawler on the last page with some Bamfs. Blue smoke, is he alive? Yes he is.

@chibio: I dont think its Sentry, but i dearly hope it is. I was under the impression Remender could possibly do a series on Sentry after Uncanny Avengers # 21, provided he is approved by Tom Brevroot, who apparently is pretty skeptical about re-introducing Sentry.

They have that in Ultimate Marvel though, but she isnt called She-Kang :p

The beginning of the return of Peter Parker. With the results of Age of Ultron and the broken timestream, Hulk currently trying to repair it, all of the time traveling with the X-Men and Battle of the Atom, somebody is going to bring Peter back. Just my wild and probably completely wrong guess.

I'm doubting it's Nightcrawler related since we already know about Amazing X-Men and how it's about trying to bring him back, so Marvel wouldn't tease us with something we already knew. If it's Sentry related, I'll be sorely disappointed. He's an awful character who doesn't deserve this kind of build-up. Peter coming back I think is just me being hopelessly optimistic.

Could be Marvelman. They did make a special point at Comic-Con that they haven't forgotten about him.

I'm guessing that 9/18 is the day the December solicits come out, so that's the means to which we learn the answer.

i agree.... event fatigue ....these events all suck worse than the proceeding event ...they get worse and worse....after house of m and civil war each was a bit worse... secret war was good not great , siege sucked, a vs x bombed .age of ultron was horrible the worst so far ....and infinity is boring the plot sucks so many new boring useless characters ,,,,thanos trying to kill everyone because hes bored yawwwwn .... cannonball and sunspot avengers ...why? now this another teaser .....i hear that the inhumans are going to release the terragin mists on earth and transform everyone into powered beings ...yawwwwn sounds like spider island all over again ...marvel get it together ...can i read a year of avengers comics without a damned event . theres avengers, new avengers ,avengers assemble, avengers a.i. , secret avengers and now mighty avengers , plus cap , ironman, ms marvel, hawkeye, thor, ...11 titles not to mention nova and guardians of the galaxy who are in it and i still need a 4 issue limited series ... they couldnt just tell the story in those books ....and the story is still confusing and boring ....annihilation and annihilation conquests were much better ,,,marvel has been falling off comic wise....good movies bad comics .

Maybe its about Peter Parker's ghost? My first impression was,

A. Peter's ghost was a pretty similar blue as the smoke and text.

B. "Is He?" could be "Is he really dead?" or "Is he really gone?" because of Otto "defeating" him inside his own head

C. "Be Vigilant." Has Peter been appearing in the background of issues and we just haven't been vigilant enough? Or if he has not, will he, sometime soon??

That's just my theory. Any thoughts?

I think nightcrawler might have holy powers now, based on what he did in the recent wolverine and the x-men issue.
