Marvel Teaser: Charles Soule and Carlo Barberi are SINNERS

there have been so many of them...are they really launching THAT many new series? Or are some of these just going to be renumbering? Or whatever...

So. Many. Marvel. Teasers.

There is no way that any Marvel Now series are getting re-numbered. Makes less than zero sense. I understand Marvel relaunches A LOT, but not this often. Gillen's Uncanny X-Men was crazy short, but that was far and away the exception.

Is the next step after all of these damn teasers to then announce a bunch of surprise cancellations? :P

I doubt that these teasers are for new series or even a renumbering. It will just be a start of a new arc that can be used as a jumping on point for new readers.

I'm finding it hard to believe Marvel is releasing this many new series, I'm starting to think these might be story arcs for existing titles.

It's gotten to the point where, I too, am starting to believe that these most of teasers are going to be story arcs for existing titles. There's no way they're renumbering or launching so many titles.

I am getting real tired of these.

Yea i have the same feeling because:

- ''Mindbubble'' could be a Cap America story arc

- ''Judgment'' and ''Trial'' could be GOTG + Jean Grey story arc.

- ''Rad'' is probably a Inhumanity-Inhuman story arc

- ''The End'' a Superior Spidey arc(probably the end of Doc Ock)

- ''Global'' an Infinity aftermath story.

- ''Sinners'', the teaser says that it's going to be reveal at the Amazing X-Men panel, so i guess it's a Inhumanity + X-Men tie-in. Add the color red in the teaser and i think i'm right.

The only one i can't see a story arc in it is ''Corporate''.

Bingo. The only weird thing is the 1 in the background. But I don't think that's been on all of them?

I'm hoping that this is a re-launch of Thunderbolts. Charles Soule is doing a fantastic job on the writing but other than Phil Noto's great work, the art has been terrible.

Yet more new stuff from Marvel... how irritating DC is probably saving all of it's stuff for NYCC :(

How many books is Soule writing now? Hoping he doesn't get overworked!

They had BETTER damn not be taking Waid off of Daredevil. I love Soule, but Waid's got it perfect.

GHos rider + THunderbolts im pretty sure

I hate to say it but all the teasers have a faded 1 in the background. Makes me think these are all going to be new series. Whether they be mini or ongoing is anyone's guess. I just wish any of them referred to an ongoing Doctor Strange -- done correctly.

Something with Scarlet Spider?

It's ridiculous. Soule is everywhere at the moment and he's average at best. He has, what, three DC books on the go right now? Now Marvel? This is stupid. The guy is not worth all this attention.

@raggedscarecrow: I really REALLY wish. But that's unlikely. Scarlet Spider has already been canceled. It's ending on issue 25, but I guess it could be a relaunch. But again...really unlikely. Sales haven't been good, and solicitations suggest a possible grim end for Kaine. Plus it's going to be talked about at the Amazing X-men and Marvel Universe panel. If it were a Scarlet Spider thing, it would probably be announced at the Spider-man panel.

I'm hoping I'm wrong because I love that series, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

here's to hoping Barberi's art improves is better than what I'm used to seeing in Thunderbolts.

I like his work on Red Lanterns. I'm not reading (or not planning to read in the case of Superman/Wonder Woman) any of his other books right now. But let's go back to the days when it was like "Woah that's a lot of books!" when a writer had 3 ongoings.

I so hope this is not the case. Ghost Rider needs a solo. Not a a team book.

^THIS^ I thought Phil Noto did a great job on Thunderbolts. Jefte Palo's art looks like stick figures. His best work was on Black Panther was great. His art now, everything is rushed with no attention to detail.

Carlos Barberi worked on Deadpool and he's doing the Thunderbolts Annual, it looks awesome! XD

He has 2 books at DC, with a third coming out. He hasn't finished his first arcs on Red Lanterns or Swamp Thing yet. He also has Thunderbolts at Marvel right now which I haven't read. He's the new blood right now, I hope the over hype doesn't hurt him in the long run.

How is Charles Soule going to be adding ANOTHER title to his roster? What baffles me the most is that none of them have dwindled in quality in even the slightest as his list grows.

Yeah, my first reaction was obviously new Thunderbolts arc, until I saw your post, and realized that it was at the X-Men panel. Also, a second look clearly denotes it as a #1 issue, and even Marvel I think is above restarting that series so soon, especially when the same writer is on the book. Now I have no idea.

Maybe it's a book about the Future X-Men in Battle of the Atom, or possibly a team of demonic X-men like Nightcrawler and Magik (but that would assume that they reintroduce Nightcrawler in Amazing X-Men only as an advertisement for yet another new X-Book. This one has me curious.

EDIT: ...actually it's and Amazing X-Men and Marvel Universe panel. I'm going back to Thunderbolts.
