and still no jean grey, the REAL jean grey. sigh. can she at least get a mini before i die its not that hard, the girl's been around a lot longer than those who have had ongoings and not even a one shot
Ey oooooooh. I'm so in! What a creative team! Hopefully Claremont's writing has evolved a bit as I've found his older works to have aged poorly. Either way, dammit Marvel, once again, I'm in.
First Doop and now this? Oh yes yes yes yes yes please!!!!
@the_stegman I would be a bit disappointed if it was an ongoing. I've got the impression that Marvel. Now has been about doing new stories for Popular and Not-So-Popular Characters/Teams that have a finite point but do tie-in to overall continuity. Which I'm 100% okay with because it doesn't leave me with a rushed or dangling ending to sour my feelings on the books, and Marvel gets a chance to run its IP's and Creators about to see what really works.
Marvel has been falling short a lot recently in my opinion (with what interests me, I mean). Daredevil, Hawkeye and Ghost Rider are pretty much the only 3 I'm interested to pick-up/continue.

If this, and Doop are indeed minis that may lead to a new team or story arc, then it could be very interesting. Especially if it's an X-Men team formed by the mutants who can't fit in with normal society.
@the_stegman: I would read that in a heartbeat. Especially since Xorn's "Special needs" class in New X-Men was one of the neater ideas that got introduced. I could see that being a fun concept to explore more.
YES! The Bamfs are getting their own series!!!!............................... oh wait, its Nightcrawler. My bad. *sigh* i guess the adventures of whiskey stealing little blue critters will have to wait until the smurfs hit Scotland.
For a character like Nightcrawler, I'm entirely sure that I see the appeal to him. He can teleport and he does have some skills, but what makes him so great that someone who doesn't really read the comics that he is in would make them enjoy him?
