This turned out exactly like Fear Itself.

I was thinking this could eventually be overlooked like the heroes usually always tend to do. World War Hulk, Shadowland. Major things happened making it seem like Hulk and Daredevil could never redeem themselves, but they obviously have. Then I think of Scott Summers, and what he did in AVX# 11. I don't think that'll be possible.

I'm definitely not thinking about reading this because there's already too many books tied in to AvX to handle.

Um...Scott's not even dead. He's on the cover of an issue of all new x men along with past scott and someone that looks like Ariel.

I'm surprised. I was expecting for Xavier's return on the cover LOL

Its not his fault. He just refuses to believe Marvel is evil now. Disney does well to hide its evil behind colorful animals and show tunes.

Lets look at it like this people. Ever since Flashpoint, Marvel has had Fear Itself, and Avengers Vs X-men. Both were stories that were over hyped and dragged on for more issues than what it was told in. Not only that but marvel pages in their comics have dropped again leaving us with a smaller comic.

Dear Marvel/Disney Execs:

I am an angry fanboy. yes im sure you get that alot. but rather than my constant nerd rage which is spewed across this internet and even swearing. Ive decided to come to a better decision that is mutually beneficial for both. I am dropping all of you comic books now.

Why you may ask would I do that? well for one you give us less content in a single issue and drive up the price. if you want to make a difference and show your sincerity for the fans you will do the following things and drive up competition for your main competitor DC.

• You will replace the high glossy pages you currently put in your books with recycled newsprint paper. yes a comic may degrade faster if not taken care of but that is the point.
• Increase the number of pages in comics to 32 pages and those are pages that are not ads.
• You will also stop abusing your current audience with ill concieved "Major events" just to try to sell to an average market.
• Stop using Death as a gimmick to try to boost sales when you are planning to bring them back only a few months later, have some class.

Then and only then if these demands are met I will continue to pick up my few titles from marvel. Though I hold no grudge against Dan Slott and his amazing work. I will do what I need to in order to get my point across. Have a good time marvel I am now officially done pick up your comics.

I agree. Though nearly everyone in this entire event is written out of character or amped up to the extreme.

There can never be a satisfying, or logical conclusion to this event if it ends with Scott dying. He did absolutely NOTHING wrong the entire event. It was the Avengers poking him with a stick the whole time. He never attacked them first, it was only in defense.

Iceman leaving Scotts side made no sense. Like 5 pages prior to the big fight he told Xavier that he loved Scott and he was his brother. Then he tells Scott that he hates him and is sick of him? What..?

So basically, EVERYONE he thought was his friend betrayed him and they pretty much forced him to retaliate against Xavier. And even with all of that power he was disgusted with himself and upset that it had come to this, he told them to leave him alone and they just wouldn't listen.

The Avengers pushed him to become the Dark Phoenix just like the Hellfire Club did it to Jean.

The really sucky thing about Avengers vs X-Men is that they gave away the ending to the story by showing us all this stuff like Marvel Now stuff and the All New X-Men series. That stuff would have been amazing as end of issue shockers instead of something we've been knowing about for months prior.

@DJ1107: I was. But after knowing yet again Marvel is going to make another event after an event and an event after an event of an event, it makes it easier to know why i GAVE up on them. They did Fear Itself and then had an aftermath series while AVX was going on, and now, they are going to have AVX: Consequences AND A+X! WTF?!?!?!

Makes you wonder why i am going to spend the 50 and get this off Amazon in November...

So it seems like Avengers vs X-Men Consequences is the setup for Marvel Now, similar to how Flashpoint sets up DC's New 52, except its not a reboot for Marvel.

Have anyone your read AVX 11. As it is kinda just Scott there.

Also, Series has been showing that in the end, the Avengers are right, as the phoenix force destroyed a world on the way back to earth. And the Avengers know it. Although they did do some morally gray things there. Which has been called out on, in the tie ins. So Marvel realizes that the Avengers are not being morally clean as well.

And how many more Variant covers are we to endure? Geesh!

The only reason this is slightly interesting is because this will lead into Marvel Now, so I am curious how everything comes together. In regards to Avengers vs X-Men..great idea but just really bad execution

First it was hyped Cable would have a major role in the story...Haven't seen him yet, so the x-santion books were pointless

then they hyped this to be a giant slugfest, but gave us weak match ups with cheesy winners...AvsX was a waste of money

I think they were better served calling this something else, because this really wasn't the X-men fighting the Avengers, this is about Scott fighting to save his species but losing control of his powers and himself.

That would have made a far more interesting series. but all of that would have been excused if the fights were actually good!!

I would have been all in seeing a good Cap/Cyclops fight, but the best fights were Avengers vs Avengers

(Cap kicking Wolverine out of the plane..Namor vs Wakanda)

But between the story falling flat and losing steam, and the numerous tie-ins, thank goodness for Marvel NOW because I don't think I could handle a Bendis Avengers run for much longer in Marvel
