i would think it has to be wolverine but im guessing it will be Kazar and the claw marks will be the tiger. I wish they would do a Savage Hulk (with Skaar as the lead)

As others have noted, I too hope he gets written 'correctly' - skill and character development first, claws "raar" and healing factor second please.

In fact, Wolverine should rarely have to pop his claws. Like a real samurai, he should only ever go SNIKT when the threat warrants it and when he intends to draw blood.

It could be Darkhawk! He has 3 claws as well! :P

Maybe his amulet will make him a savage!

Give me some daken he's got the jagged bone claws, isn't wolverine already going to be in like 8 other books already. Marvel needs to use more characters in their different books instead of using the same characters in multiple books.

I'm going with Ka-Zar on this one and since it's Frank Cho, i'd be fairly sure it's going to feature a WHOLE lot of Shanna in there too.

She hulk already has her new book coming put. So not that. It's Really obvious. Really Obvious.

The word Savage is highly tied to She-Hulk in my mind, and as Frank Cho is famous for his drawings of the female form, that makes the most sense to me. Which would be so terrific. Unfortunately, those claw marks make that seem very unlikely. Those darn claws and the fact that the print is yellow, I have to put my money on Wolverine too sadly. But a Black Panther series would be a nice surprise.

Also it looks like Cho will be writing and drawing, has he ever written before?

Are you guys idiots? It's clearly Wolverine. It shows three claw marks, and the new Wolverine book hasn't been announced yet. This. Also this teaser doesn't mean that the series will be called "Savage" anything.

I love Frank Cho. Depending on who it is I may get into the series.

I'm 100% sure it's wolverine . Marvel has been quite obvious with these teasers.

That doesn't look like wolverine, he has 3 claws but those slashes are too jagged compared to his very sleek/smooth claws. Those look like a slash from an animal

It's Wolverine, since his book is getting the Ax. Plus, if they didn't want to say it was wolverine, they would have put either 4 or 5 claw marks, since the human hand has 4 fingers or four fingers and a thumb.

Also, Marvel keeps trying get a solid Black Panther series put out, but it rarely does well, so I doubt that's it (though his new found popularity due to Avengers EMH might prove me wrong)
