Marvel Minimates Series 42 and 12 are Headed to Stores

Keep your eyes out for these new releases.

Like many of you, I enjoy a cool comic book toy product. The Minimates line is one that I haven't really looked into. Diamond Select Toys has announced that the latest Marvel Minimates lines are headed to stores.

Series 42 will be available in specialty stores and comic shops and is due on November 23. The line includes:

- Armored Thor with Beta Ray Bill (metallic)

- Captain America (leather jacket) with Arnim Zola

- Thunderstrike with Stone Man (SPECIALTY MARKET EXCLUSIVE)

- Eric Masterson as Thor (rare variant) with Stone Man (SPECIALTY MARKET EXCLUSIVE)

TRU Wave 12 (Toys "R" Us stores and Toysrus.com) will be available in late November. This line will include:

- Armored Thor with Beta Ray Bill (metallic)

- Captain America (leather jacket) with Arnim Zola

- Jack Kirby Thor with Balder (TOYS "R" US EXCLUSIVE)

- Secret War Captain America with Crossbones (TOYS "R" US EXCLUSIVE)

THose are very cool little guys, never got into the line, mainly because of availability and that there are so many of them. Might have to snag a few of the Captain America ones to go along with the one Cap mini-mate I do have that came with the TRU exclusive version of Ultimate Avengers 2.
