Marvel Announces 'XX' Project from Brian Wood & Olivier Coipel

Either X-23 (PLEASE!!!!!) or maybe Mystique. Regardless, I will try it out, and hope to God it is a 2.99 title.

If Marvel was still smart this would be a buddy cop series starting Cyclops and Wolverine and the tittle would be X & X.

Definitely an X-Book, definitely a female led book. My best guess is a new X-23 title. But who knows. This is one of the first Marvel Now mini-teasers that actually has me intrigued to find out what it is.

Interesting. It's probably in all likeyhood a all-female (X) title or possibly x-23. Who knows if x-23 will be in Avengers Arena come April? I think they are inside of a game or virtual reality anyway. I would say its very likely a Storm led team because of some hints and rumors I have seen and heard...but Sam Humphries last interview about his team being outsiders, his plan for Storm and Besty and not being able to use Jubes in his X-force has me second guessing. Either way, next week we will find out. I guess this is the last round of Marvel NOW which has been pretty good IMHO so far.

XX= female, DNA strand has 23 pairs of chromsomes in it, Logical answer= X-23 And before anymore people say that she's in avengers arena, it's a comicbook, they can do whatever they want. It's also coming in April, a lot can appen in 4 months.

it could be, but Marvel already has an all female team in Fearless Defenders coming out in February. Maybe X-23?

"XX" = female. "X" = X. "XX" = 20. If there was a triple helix in the background I'd say its X-23. She a mutant right?

I suppose a female mutant title sure. The double helix in back kinda helps provide corroboration to that.

An all female team would be interesting considering that I think I saw somewhere that they are reviving the Sisterhood of Mutants.

I also thought of it somehow being Xavier's Xmen. A group tasked before his death to take over or a group implanted with a trigger upon his death to go into action.

X-23 is the only book ill be interested in

I'd rather this not be an X-23 title. She's not marketable/important enough for Brian Wood to write her, and certainly not good enough for Coipel to waste needless hours illustrating her. That'd be a real waste.

Brian Wood always writes strong female characters and female characters in leadership roles, so if its anything but an all-female/female focused X-men book i will be shocked.

Rogue or X-23 are my bets.

I love these teasers. I honestly can't narrow down a guess, but I love seeing fans decipher it so well

So many ideas -- lots of them great. It can be a Weapon X thing -- clones thing -- who knows.

I want X-23. So that means it won't have her, according to my streak lately.

It's probably not. But, I can have some vague sense of hope that it is. My vote goes to an X-woman book to replace the X-men book he just finished.

an x-women book would be awesome but im not that lucky so i'll believe it when i see it. well there is no excalibur or new mutants book so could it be a place for those characters? (excalibur is very unlikely but i loved the series). so many mutants are missing in this marvel now universe. no x-man, blink, or surge to name a few.

I thought about a title like Xavier's Xmen. Maybe a group that had been picked as the new xmen on Xavier's death. Or somehow he's implanted a triiger in these mutants to go into action when he died.

An X-23 led team would be cool, too. Personally I want X-23 leading a team of Chamber, Surge, Hellion and Arclight or if not Arclight I'll take Magma. Adding Pixie and of the Cuckoos would be interesting too.
