Marvel Announces Free ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Premiere Comic

There's a new Spider-Man animated series on the way and the free comic will show you what to expect.

Who likes free comics? Marvel is getting ready for the premiere of their new animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man and they have a comic coming to get fans ready.

On April 1, Disney XD is launching Ultimate Spider-Man, an all-new animated series for fans of all ages. To get a first look at the series, Marvel is putting out ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN PREMIERE, a screen capture comic book adaptation of the first episode.

The comic will be perfect for fans of all ages and great for comic shops to have in stock on Free Comic Book Day in May. Retailers can find more information in the Marvel Mailer and Diamond Daily with the comic code NOV118181. The issue arrives in stores on March 28.

I hope this is in the Ultimates universe and not just called ultimate spider-man... I want to see pete with his backpack!

I know my teacher Ty Templeton is suppose to do art for an ultimate book.  I wonder if this is it.

Ah, that explains the new titling for the kids' line, instead of (or in addition to?) Marvel Adventures.

Guess there has to be some competition for Cartoon Network's upcoming DC Nation. Still, looks interesting!

@Silkcuts: Thats cool where does he teach?

@spiderbat87: It is not in the Avengers EMH universe, it just shares a programming block with it. This cartoon is a loose adaption of the Ultimate Spider-man comic.

He is co-writing the tie-in comic of the show. This is an adaption using images from the show.

Now I know one of the comics I will be picking up for free comic book day

Even if it says all ages, this show will probably just be for kids if its a loose adaptation.
