Mark Waid Returns to Boom! Studios

Watch as the writer teases a new upcoming project.

Mark Waid has done a lot in comics. With classic runs at DC Comics and Marvel, Waid was also the Editor-in-Chief and later Chief Creative Officer at Boom! Studios. A couple of his titles there, IRREDEEMABLE and INCORRUPTIBLE, were some of my all-time favorite stories.

Now Waid is ready to make his return to Boom! Studios. Here's an announcement he made about his upcoming project.

What do you think? It's a big tease and we'll have to wait to find out who he'll be working with. What do you think about this?

Wonder what artist he'll be working with? I'm intrigued.

@ctcfirebird: I read Irreedemable for a long time. Incorruptible kinda fell flat though.

Totally checking this out, whatever this is. It has Mark Waid writing, 'nuff said.

That's interesting...I never read Irredeemable or Incorruptable, although I have heard good things, but I didn't know they were from Boom, I thought Boom was a kids' comics company.

I might have to get into Boom comics then...

I love Waid's work. His runs on The Flash, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Daredevil, and The Indestructible Hulk are among some of my favorite comic runs of all time. He also wrote my favorite Superman origin story, Superman: Birthright. I also shared his views about the Man of Steel film. Waid remains one of the best comic writers today as his work on DD continues to prove.

Hopefully this means he's leaving DD

@dagmar_merrill: I read insufferable when it first launched. Then I think the Thrillbent site got hacked and it was down for a while. I never really came back to it.

@longbowhunter: In my honest opinion, it gets better as it continues.
