M.A.C. Make-Up Teams Up With ARCHIE

Pretty soon you'll have the chance to get your hands on some Betty and Veronica inspired make-up.

Yeah, that's right, this is a news article about make-up. Why? Because if you are anything like me, you like make-up almost as much as comics, and when these two concepts merge you're talking about a truly beautiful marriage between two things. So what's not to love?

Earlier today M.A.C. Make-Up announced they would be teaming up with Archie Comics to bring an Archie inspired make-up line launching on January 31st, 2013 across North America. The make-up line will be available across all M.A.C. cosmetics locations by February 7th, 2013. The line is appropriately titled 'Archie's Girls' and will feature two contrasting color pallets; one that compliments Betty's girl-next-door personality, and the other matching Veronica's vivaciousness.

The line will also feature a cool Betty and Veronica inspired brush kit, a coin purse, make-up bag and tote.

This isn't the first time that M.A.C. has teamed up with a comic book company and integrated comic book concepts into their make-up line. You may recall the Wonder Woman inspired make-up line from a few years ago that featured some stunning promotional artwork from artist Mike Allred.

Even if you yourself don't wear make-up, I bet you know someone that does and this new Archie inspired line could make the perfect gift. What do you think? Check out images of all the products, packaging and colors below.

I'm waiting for The Question themed make up line. Sounds and looks like a good V-day present though.

Damn, Sara. You're on fire with the articles today. Good work.

Never really saw the appeal of these relation ships. It's a pair of women competing for the affections of a guy who can't make up his mind. =)

I thought the packaging for their Wonder Woman line was great, but to be honest, I didn't like the colors. I like the colors for these though, a lot.

I also love that we're talking about make-up on a comic book website.

I'm surprised they went with that older style for Archie, Betty and Veronica and not the what-has-become-standard Dan Decarlo versions of the characters.
