LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Now Available for PlayStation 4

There's a new system out and the game has been given new visuals.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has been out for a bit now. We gave our impressions from the Wii U but with the launch of the PlayStation 4, the game is now available (in North America).

The game is said to include "stunning new gameplay visuals" and you can now take part in co-op remotely by synching the PlayStation Vita and the PS4.

LEGO fans and families will also be able to enjoy the game for Xbox One® on November 22 in North America and in European territories beginning November 29. Don’t forget that the game is also available now on Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3, Wii U™, PC as well as Nintendo 3DS™ and PlayStation® Vita handheld entertainment systems.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes features an entirely original story that encapsulates the entire Marvel Universe. Players take control of over 100 unique Marvel characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine and more as they unite to stop Loki and a host of other Marvel villains from assembling a super-weapon capable of destroying the world. Players will chase down Cosmic Bricks as they travel across LEGO Manhattan and visit key locations from the Marvel Universe, such as Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base and the X-Mansion.

Here's some more screenshots.

I think I might have to pick this up on my way home today!

I have a question for people who own this game on a console. Is the game mission-based on consoles, were you have three missions per stage (2 and a boss) and you can't continue to the next mission unless you've gotten enough achievement brick to unlock it or is it laid out differently? Cause I got it on Vita and that's how it works there.

The game is broken into team based missions, like the first one is Hulk + Iron Man, then you have X-men missions etc. Each mission is fairly straight forward with a start and end point, with puzzles thrown in there, though the levels do have cool side missions in them as well. They aren't broken into segments though, each level is one big continuous mission including the boss fights (if any). Plus in between missions you can free roam with any of the characters you've unlocked, in Manhattan! it's pretty cool.

I've been playing this game (on 360) all weekend. It's so much fun. I've got most of the characters unlocked now. Just need all the alternate costumes and all those darn gold bricks haha My biggest issue with the game is the lack of an Invert Y option. That damn camera drives me nuts without it.

@gothamred: its more then that. I have the vita version also. The vita versions is an extremely crappy port that will be released on ios soon. This games levels are not like that. They are long cinematic and very fun. Also there is about 1000 items to collect including 160 characters. Each character has different fighting styles and abilities that help you get through it. I regret buying the vita version because with the ps4 I can remote play this version on the vita when I can't get tv access.
