Lady Deadpool Makes Marvel Offer Same-Day 2nd Printing

Guess she has some pull over at Marvel to make this happen.

As we wait for the first appearance of Lady Deadpool, Marvel is doing something they don't normally do. On the same day that Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #7 hits the streets, a second printing variant will also be available on the very same day. How crazy is that?

Due to overwhelming demand from retailers that has caused sell-outs of every issue so far (note that not all have had second printings), Marvel has already prepped another printing for Merc With A Mouth #7. It will feature an all-new cover by Rob Liefeld. This issue marks the debut of Lady Deadpool and is being brought to us by series writer Victor Gischler along with artists Rob Liefeld, Kyle Baker, Bong Dazo and Das Pastoras.

Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #7 will be on sale on January 20, 2010. It will have a $3.99 price tag. There will also be a wraparound cover by Arthur Suydam on the regular version.

Kyle Baker make Rob look like hes an artest (or atlest on his deadpool stuff I saw what he did in deadpool 900 and that was the only think i didn't like well there where some good idea but i looked like crap)

Lady Deadpool is just a Deadpool in another universe. There's going to be multiple other forms of Deadpool as he hops around the multi-verse.

Is Lady Deadpool going to be a recurring character? I was under the assumption that Deadpool was going to bump into his alternate selves and then we'd never see them again. This is why I'm a little puzzled over all of this fan reaction, people are acting like the Deadpool corps they are here to stay.

I don't think I'd mind Lady Deadpool hanging around though. Headpool and Deadpool have a great dynamic, so if Headpool's gonna get ditched in the Zombieverse, she might be a good replacement. I just hope she gets a costume different from Deadpool's, that ponytail looks horrible with Deadpool's costume... although it might look good if a different artist drew it.

Anyone think Deadpool would sleep with her? lol.

See, I realize it's not actually clones, but I meant a clone of the character, as in, how he acts, looks, etc. Not a LITERAL clone. It's like, Lady Deadpool is like She-Venom. Get my meaning?

Couldn't agree more with 'ya. Over-hype leads to things like....

Let it be known I love symbiotes, but I agree the five life foundation symbiotes were a bit much...
