It's no secret that I absolutely love Mike Allred's MADMAN. I'm always looking for new Madman merchandise and was excited to see this new Kickstarter campaign that just launched.
You may recall the recent MADMAN: IN YOUR FACE SPECIAL. Christian LeBlanc converted several Madman images to 3D. Christian Irving is teaming up with LeBlanc to bring the idea to a cool trading card set. Of course, this card has full approval by Mike Allred:
"Christopher is a long time friend who has always been enthusiastic and supportive of what we do. It's been big fun to let him loose on this, sit back, and watch him run wild! And you've all seen what Christian LeBlanc is capable of. Gonna be soopah cool!"
There have been Madman trading cards in the past. For diehard Madman fans/collectors or newer fans of Allred's creation and cool things in general, you can back the project to help make this spiffy project become a reality.

The Madman Comin’ Atcha 3D Trading Cards feature a 44-card deck with 36 Madman cards and an 8-card subset of The Atomics. A 10-card Artist’s Edition pack features conversions of classic Jack Kirby, Alex Toth, Frank Frazetta, and Darwyn Cooke Madman pin-ups; it also features original Madman images by Dean Haspiel (Billy Dogma, The Fox), Simon Fraser (Doctor Who, Nikolai Dante), George Folz (The Roman Nose with Seth Kushner), Terry Huddleston (Thaniel), Bizhan Khodabandeh (Little Red Fish), and Ethan Young (Tails, Nanjing). There are also bonus cards for higher pledge levels. The highest levels feature cards autographed by the new contributors and Allred himself.
The 30-day campaign is seeking a minimum goal of $3,500, with two stretch goals that will grow the set.
