The good news is, it looks like we can indeed expect a live-action sequel as well. Bleeding Cool reported that Mark Millar was a guest on the Richard Bacon Show on BBC Radio Five Live and shared some information.
Millar said that due to the sales estimates for the UK release of Kick-Ass on DVD (based on US sales), the movie should end up making a quarter of a billion dollars. The movie basically made a lot of money and cost very little to make. According to Millar, the movie has been greenlit.
In other Millar related news, apparently the director for Nemesis is going after Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp to star in the movie. Good luck.
