JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED Launches in April

I guess having United is better than Canada. Placing a country's name on a comic book is limiting, no matter what country it is.

I don't get why this is taking place in Moosonee, lol. Maybe because of the clear night skies? If they are going cosmic with this, maybe they were better off heading up to Nunavut or one of the territories where you can catch the Northern Lights.

Would be nice to see a First Nations representative on the team but I really hope they don't ham it up and cater to stereo-types. While I am glad the writer has taken it upon himself to research things, I will keep my enthusiasm to a low simmer until more is revealed.

I didn't realize McKone was one this book, between him, Lemire, and Animal man, I couldn't be more excited for this series. I think it was a good idea to change the name to Justice League United, as I don't understand how anyone ever thought Canada was a big enough deal to get their own justice league book.

This looks like DC is trying to replicate Marvel's success with "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The name is much better and I love this team!

I wonder if we will get to see some of the Milestone and/or Wildstorm characters DC has on the team, that would be pretty cool. Gotta say though, I was kinda looking forward to read JLC (and I'm not even Canadian), oh well this still looks like a good book. But I am disappointed that JLA is getting canceled, can't we have both? please DC :)

@saren: lol that was pretty funny. Just does make sense to me that they feel people will not read a book because you put them in Canada. There are plenty of Canadian readers and I double people are that Xenophobic.

Life after Lemire's Animal Man is much better with this book in the horizon.

Don't currently buy any DC books but this sounds awesome. It will be my first!

My only issue with the roster is Supergirl. But besides that, I'm super excited! :D

Am I the only one that loved the name Justice League Canada? Even as an American, I was down for that title. But my body can't wait for this book any longer

This seems unnessary. I was happy with JLA even though the storyline went into turmoil with forever evil. I guess I'm still getting it just to replace my JLA title.

I thought that was what the Threshold book was about, even changing Captain Carrot to a Rocket Raccoon analogue.

How would you compare the Bendis' run to DnA? From the comments here it doesn't seem very favorable.

loving adam strange new look, the fish bowl was just sad. I hope they get new members on the team there are a lot of good characters they have yet to use.

The Justice League of America. He's in the other book too. The one with Catwoman and Hawkman. Actually Stargirl is in that too.

The roster of the new Justice League team will be a collection of some of my favourite DC characters: ANIMAL MAN, GREEN ARROW, STARGIRL, MARTIAN MANHUNTER, ADAM STRANGE, SUPERGIRL, ALANNA STRANGE and HAWKMAN

That is such a great line up reminds me very much of Justice League Unlimited.
