Justice League Movie Confirmed

I just...don't care, much. 2018 is just so long away, and for all we know, they could take longer. They only said no sooner than 2018. Look at how many times they've said they'd do this movie or that movie and then nothing happens. Why can't they be as diligent with their movies as they are with their animated movies and TV shows? I honestly didn't care for Man of Steel and don't look forward to the sequel, especially with all the casting in it.

Let's hope Batman vs. Superman will be huge success.

So when they say Metal Men and Shazam are separate from the Justice League, does that mean they are set in there own universe? Because I honestly don't see them fitting in the MoS universe.

Also since there was no mention of Del Toro's Justice League Dark movie I take it that's scraped? I was looking forward to it the most.

I'll believe it when I see a trailer, sadly I wouldn't be surprised if we see another few Batman and Superman movies before a Justice League movie

My biggest takeaway from this article: 100 Bullets? Cool but that and especially Fables need to be f*cking Netflix series not movies!

What do you mean by "the right script" are you working on a script or are you just hoping one will magically land on your desk? And why do you need the "the right script"? Having the wrong script has never stopped a movie executive before, or have we already for gotten about such comic book movie jems as Steel, and Blade Trinity?

Saying they're waiting for the right script is the same as saying they're not interested in making a movie for her. Do you think Marvel studios was "wait(ing) for the right script" when they started producing Iron Man, or the Avengers, or the Guardians of the Galaxy? No they were not, they went out and hired someone to write the right script for them. If Warner Brothers isn't interested in making a Wonder Woman movie then they should just say so.

Still no Wonder Woman movie? I'll definitely see this, but I'll probably keep my hopes a little low, since Zack Snyder is directing it.

immmmm not really caring much for this. The success of justice league heavily depends on the success of Batman vs Superman (are they really still calling it that? why not Superman/Batman or Worlds Finest. why the "Vs" part?) and to be honest I'm not hyped about that film. After re-watching Man of Steel the film just gets worse and worse (for me anyway) and seeing as the same director is directing all 3 of these films i'm not going to go and pretend that i'm all for it. Metal-men is a ballsy move i must say... but still no wonder Woman film? The superhero movie race started a long time ago and DC/Warner are not even competing.

On the plus side, DC are winning when it comes to their TV franchises, both live action and animated (..... except for Teen Titans Go! of course.) and i am looking forward to the new flash series, Gotham and the John Constantine series. Let marvel win with the Movies and let DC win with their TV broadcasts.

If this is anything like the New 52 Justice League, I will not bother seeing it. I just want to know if they consult Morrison or Johns. One writes great teams, one writes sellable spite teams. Spite Wonder Woman. Spite Batman. Hype then Spite Martian Manhunter.

They're willing to push Metal Men and Shazam,shows faith to me.I have no idea why people are crying about WW,the only excuse I keep hearing is that she's iconic. WW is gonna fail no matter what,her fanbase cant even decide what clothes she should wear or whom she should date. She is a polarizing character and her movie will be just as polarizing that I can guarantee you.

Yeah, I'm honestly not bothered that they're not planning a Wonder Woman movie. For a female character vehicle, I'm been saying for quite a while now that they should try a good Catwoman heist flick. Or a Zatanna movie.

Catwoman is that one character who can easily pull off a movie,shame they made that crap 11 years ago. Batwoman is another contender,though they will have to sell her as something more than just a female Batman knockoff(she isn't but the GA has to know that). The Birds of Prey could work as well.

The only thing I'm excited about is 100 Bullets. It better be rated "R" also.

So let me get this straight, Wonder Woman is one of the most famous and iconic superheroes of all time and yet WB keeps claiming a movie of her would be "too tricky". And here we have the Metal Men, the f***ing Metal Men, who NOBODY KNOWS outside of hardcore comic book nerds, and yet WB is giving THEM their own movie?!. What in the actual f*** man?!

@monsterstomp: At this rate I'm hoping everyone of the films they've announced outside of JL and Shazam suffer the same fate as Jonah Hex. It makes no f***ing sense to how WB will always give movies to the characters from DC that nobody outside of hardcore comic book fans care about, but they'll never give the A Listers (barring Supes and Bats) the time of the day.

Metal Men being more obscure than Wonder Woman doesn't necessarily make them a harder comic book property to adapt to film.

My takeaways from this thread:

1. I find it funny people try to claim this a DC biased site, and then you have thread likes this with nothing but people bitching about DC (usually people with Marvel character avatars)

2. No body actually understands a thing about movie making and automatically thinks because her name is Wonder Woman she will be 100% successful or doesn't have any problems translating to the big screen.

3. I really hope they do Hal instead of John Stewart, just to see the John fans bitch and moan (more than they have all ready)

4. The hypocrisy in this thread is also hilarious. People cry that DC isn't doing more, they announce more and people cry more. And yet people actually take things seriously like "I have things planned out to 2028 HAHAHAHAHAHA" - Feige
