The rogues gallery and art work alone will make this series worth a read for me but the lineup at present feels kinda incomplete to me. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm used to seeing jackloads of big name DC icons in a JL line-up but it feels like they need 1 or 2 more. I mean Hal, Ollie, Batwoman, Ray Palmer and Supergirl are the makings of a really solid team but Congorilla and some blue dude? *shrugs* guess we'll see how that pans out. Either way I think JL wasn't going the right way with Black Canary, feel sorry for Ollie dude, thats the kinda girl you don't want to marry no matter how hot she is, a consumate nag with a 'memememememe' complex.

That artwork looks likes its somewhere in between a traditional comic-book look and the ultra-realistic Alex Ross style and the result is distilled black-label awesome.

The main series has sucked for quite awhile and was ansious to add this as my new series to get my fix of the JL

Didio said it was because the artist took too long drawing to be able to be part of a monthly schedule, why not simply put a new artist after the first arc?

are they breaking the teams down to "Avengers" sizes now i guess

Nice artwork.  I like the team roster, especially The Atom. Always thought he should be more proactive.  Batwoman is an interesting inclusion.  Supergirl--awesome. 
I assume GL will be the leader.   May have to check this one out.

That was the dumbest thing ever! Why make a reference to something the reader doesn't know what you are talking about. They should have at least started the "Cry For Justice" so we have an idea whats going on. Or make like a "filler" arc so that they could put this issue out when CFJ does start. I don't think I've seen a book reference to an event the reader can't read yet."

I am.  The team is Hal, Olllie, Supergirl, Batwoman, Congorilla, Ray Palmer, and the dude in the top left who looks like a blue martian manhunter.  I forget his name.  Anyway, I hope it's sweet!

I think a team of six is a decent sized team to be honest.
