Joe Madureira Returns to Marvel in June

I loved Joe Mads. I don't like his Wolverine tho.

I thought that he would be returning to Avenging Spider-Man

Anyways, I'm excited for this. Wolverine and Spider-Man are my 2nd and 3rd favorite comic book characters, respectively. This seems right up my alley and I'm excited to see what it's all about. I know the shelves are usually pretty over-saturated with Wolverine books anyways, but I didn't enjoy Savage Wolverine at all, so I need a good Wolverine book to fill the void of disappointment that it created.

I hope that if it's a new Wolverine comic it's a miniseries rather than an ongoing. I like Wolverine but I'd prefer to see someone else get a chance - Hercules for example.

I like how he draws Spidey, and Hulk!

It's about time. Been a long time since those first issues of Avenging Spider-Man came out. Too long. Hopefully he'll be back and be regular.

Did he ever finish Battle Chasers? Finish that first!

So Joe Mad signs on to drum up sales for 4 issues on some no-name title? I boycotted Ultimates and the no-name Spidey title that no longer exists for this very reason. Put him on a damn title worth a damn and make it for longer than 6 issues and I'll probably be more excited.

Wow, a title that Wolverine appears in? That only narrows it down to 50.

What's the point? He is a relic of the 90's who can not commit to a project long term. I'd take a lesser known artist if it meant some consistency.

Only reason im getting Savage Wolverineis for Cho. If he leaves i'll follow. I hope this ins't the case. But then here we go again Marvel will drowned us with Wolverine.

Isn't this what Marvel meant with the "Scarlet" teaser with Bendis and Mad? If it's centered around Wolverine and more of a new team I might pick it up.

Although I'm not so harsh as Rolls because I do in fact like Joe Mad's work - I do agree with the sentiment as a whole.

As a comic aside - they could even call this title "Wolverine's SEAL TEAM 6 mission to hand Joe Mad extra money for his 6th Lambo!!! "

I agree. I loved his art work he did but the fact he couldn't commit to his book doesn't really send the right message to the fans.

i dont understand why people hate on wolverine titles. just dont buy them. iron man is on every avengers team, gaurdians, plus his own series and ultimate iron man and ultimates. plus he guest appears in every title. never hear complaining about him is all

Wolverine is still one of the main characters, probably the main character.

I was 8 years old when that came out - I'm 22 now and still hoping that it one day will be completed!

but Joe Mad is a god though - so whatever he chooses to do with his talents I'm more than psyched for it!

Wow, Wolverine. It's nice to see him get the spotlight, as he's such a deep, mult-facetted character, and Marvel just doesn't give him the focus that he deserves. It's nice that their finally putting someone new getting centre stage, for a change.

i dropped savage wolverine because reasons , so i may look into this , i love the character and ninjas. if he takes over savage cool , if its a new series im in! plus the pic in the article looks really cool

I'll pick it up if Joe Mad's involved.

And it's always great to pair Wolverine with Spider-Man. Loved the Astonishing limited series.
