Is This the DC Cinematic Universe's Future?

2 Marvel movies per year and 3 DC movies per year. That would make me a very happy camper.

Captain Marvel before Wonder Woman?? Bull Sh!t!!!!!

Okay...I just don't know why they're focusing on a Captain Marvel movie so soon when they're not planning on it being part of the DCCU. They should be universe building.

If this is true, then I'm going to feel very mixed about this.

It's nice to see a Wonder Woman movie and an actual sequel to Man of Steel but why not do these movies in order:

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern reboot, Flash, Aquaman, and a Justice League movie.

@k4tzm4n: I get it but I feel that each of the Big 3 of DC having a solo film tying into the Justice League would be better. I hate to make the comparison but similar to the way they did with Avengers. I don't know I think it'd do mot to hype up the Justice League but that's just me I guess haha.

@kal_smahboi: Maybe he has a bigger part in the DCCU than we think, maybe he'll be the character WB will use to introduce us to magic. And Dwayne Johnson is probably Black Adam so that will get asses into the seats.

@ccraft: Maybe, but (rumor alert) I heard Captain Marvel won't be part of the DCCU. It'll be awesome if he is, but that's just not the way it's looking right now. I'm also wondering if the DCCU needs another "flying brick" character with Superman already established. I'm not saying Cap has no merits, I'm just thinking logistically.

Is Sandman even part of the DCU?

This looks like a really solid road map. I absolutely love the idea of a Flash/Green Lantern team up film. I think they could have some great dialogue between those two bros and really build a camaraderie between them.

Also, Sandman!? That sounds great. I'd love to see an Aquaman film come along, but tbh I think Sandman has so much more potential for greatness, and deserves a film far more.

Green Lantern Flash team up? That would be...THE GREATEST THING EVER

Has to be Hal and Barry though, no other Flash/GL combo has as much chemistry and history as they do

My theory is, Dawn of Justice would lead to a Justice League film. However, they won't simply stay a team and never leave to do other things. If anything, the actual order would be Man of Steel, Batman: Under The Red Hood, Wonder Woman: Odyssey, Dawn of Justice, Green Lantern and Flash: Light in The Sky (They're really gonna need to brainstorm on that one,) Justice League (and here we introduce Aquaman.

However, I think there are other ways to do it. The way WB has things going though, I think they'll do alright. You don't always need to do an origin story. I think when people see Aquaman rising from the sea on a giant sea creature, I think they'll get invested.

@corpsecraft: How is it a long time? If tHe rumors are true tHe BS film will come out in two years. THe year after tHat WW will get Her solo flick and tHat is after coming out on two otHer films. Before WW film comes out she'll already be in two films.

That's great and all... but who's playing Flash? But I'm glad Aquaman is gonna be in the movie. DC is not known for their live-action films so I'm not sure if these movies are gonna be good. I'm just gonna have to wait and see.

But, good to hear that we will be getting 3 films per year. As long as they don't drop in quality, them I'm good with getting 3 films a year.

As much as I would love to see most of these movies on this list, I'm VERY skeptical this will all happen. :-\

I'm waiting for Comic-Con to hear some official annoucements from WB/DC.......then I'll mark the F out.

If it's true I don't know if I like it. It seems like DC is trying too hard to compete with Marvel instead of making good movies. It could backfire and instead of having their own cinematic juggernaut they could over saturate the market and hurt both companies. Give us a good Superman movie, a good Batman movie, Justice League and expand from there. Don't just throw eggs at the wall and call it an omelet!

Oh man i really hope this rumor proves out to be true. Its about time DC picked up the slack in the movie department. Then maybe the two comic book giants can coexist as two giants of cinema in the same order!

Exactly. I've loved the guy for decades, but it really pisses me off that Steel has been pushed to the back burner for the sake of raising Victor's profile.

Especially considering just how far on-screen armoring has come since Shaquille O'Neil stunk up the place in his cringe worthy "performance" of Superman's technical guru and advisor. HE should get the box-office reboot, not a Cyborg film (that probably wouldn't even include the Titans that are so necessary to tell his story correctly)!

AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAA. HA! if this is true, which i doubt it, dc is really desperate. they are going the sony route announcing a million movies at once. they will all be either green lanterns or jonah hexes or, even worse, mans of steel. god help us all and the bros will have destruction wood non stop for years.

I understand DC/WB are getting their sh^t together, but immediately like this? With 6 movies in 2 years? Nope, not this soon. They could barely get one movie out every year and now suddenly they have the balls to do 6 MOVIES in 2 years? Like I said, just don't see it. Maybe 2 movies in 2016 and 1 in 2017 would be more realistic.

But lmfao they are seriously messing with Marvel on their May dates. If any of this is true, the only May date Marvel will win over DC is 2018 (Avengers 3 vs MoS 2).

CBM's will be dead by 2018 if Marvel and DC go at each other with this number of films. That's including Fox and Sony as well.

Green Lantern already got a solo movie though. No matter the quality it's still too soon for (a traditional) reboot.

@maximizer: marvel movies are considered by the general population very very good. dc is considered broski movies and destruction p0rn. marvel will win every date. as for your prediction, yes, sony and dc are killing the CBM genre with their crappy rushed movies. we've got about 2-3 years tops before they stop making them, due to oversaturation and the fact that most good hero movies wouldve been made by then.

5 bucks if BvS makes billions at box office, 5 more if it gets 75 percent or more on Rotten Tomatoes, 5 more if it makes more/is better overall than the Avengers.

Yeah, I dont see dc pulling this schedule off. They are scrambling to catch up to marvel and I think they will delay half of these projects and/or produce really sh!tty movies
