Have you read Iron Man Extremis by Warren Ellis and Adi Granov? We mentioned earlier this week that Marvel is making this story their next motion comic. On April 16 you will get to see an adaption of the story where Tony Stark faces his greatest threat ever, a terrorist transformed into an unstoppable force with the powerful bio-engineered Extremis super-soldier serum. Tony Stark redefines Iron Man's mission for the 21st Century.
Featuring groundbreaking animation and special effects never before seen in a motion comic, Iron Man: Extremis will leave your jaw on the floor. Each of the six episodes will only cost you $1.99 with an extra sized premiere running nearly 20 minutes long. You can also get a season pass at the affordable price of $9.99. It will be available for download on iTunes, Zune and Xbox with new episodes available bi-weekly through June.
I was wondering how Extremis was going to turn out....
The art has so much of a 3D look from it that the animation is half done... This looks more like an animated series rather than a motion comic, so far the best one yet... Extraordinary!
What makes this a motion comic and not an animation? I think the same goes with the x-men 'motion comic' too. For me, a motion comic is the Invincible one made by MTV new media. It's fantastic, and literally IS a motion comic.
I'm not saying It's bad, in fact it looks alright, I'm just saying It's not really a motion comic.
Not a big fan of Extremis, but I did enjoy this book, the story and art were in simple words? Just amazing. I may actually watch this.
But one question: I didn't know yoy could see these on XBox Live, so if I wanted to watch this motion comic, I can just simply buy it or whatever on my XBox360?
Motion comics just keep getting better and better. This looks pretty damn near animated to tell the truth. Very excited to see this. I was going to reread extremis story line but I'll just wait for this.
That is some pretty flippin' impressive animation for the motion comic. That certainly doesn't appear to be just casually made for motion. It might be cool if they could incorporate that level of animation into a game version.

Totally what I was thinking when I was watching this.
