I always enjoy Mankhe's art. Although it's rough around the edges at times, he draws such emotion into it. And that Manhunter vs Superman vs Flash fight looks good. Glad Superman won't be faring well against the mental advantage J'onn has.

I hope it won't be like marvel's horrible events like CW,WWH and AVX in which heroes just stupidly fight with eachother.

I'm hoping that Superman punches MM into next year. I hate how he's instantly written off against him.

Get him back on the main JL book.

After seeing her in her own title looking so plain, it's great to see Wonder Woman with a nice rack again. Cleavage and Wonder Woman go together like peanut butter and jelly.

The only problem with the artwork is Wonder Woman looks very... trannyish. She reminds me of a more slender ugly stepsister from Shrek 2.

Damn, those panels between Diana and Steve Trevor spell so much painful awkwardness its not even funny. Really looking forward to this event and can't wait to see how Doug handles it too!

One thing that I'm really enjoying about Trinity War and the New 52 in general is that Steve Trevor is getting a lot more attention than he did in the old DCU. Mahnke draws a really good Trevor too, I just got to say.

Man, though Finch was alright, just a momentary glance at these pages shows you what an upgrade Mahnke is. I loved his art on Green Lantern, and I'm sure I'll love it on JLA.

Justice League Dark is the only "team" book I've been reading. May have to stretch my budget and buy the next few JL/JLA issues.

Hawkman was able to knock out Superman in Superman/Batman's first arc back in 2003-04. He used the Claw of Horus to do it.

And Superman is breaking Green Arrow's bow like a twig, not punching him in the chest.

Hawkman? Out classed by Aquaman? No disrespect, I just don't see it. Pre 52, maybe. But now? No way.

Really pumped for Trinity War! Glad to see DC's going all out with this one.

Dang the art looks awesome! I'll admit i'm not the biggest Mahnke fan but he draws awesome stuff as well :), it's all in the eyes (similar to Rags Morales) Can't wait to check out the event!

I was really excited to see Mahnke come on board for JLA. But it's only two issues? At the end of issue 7, this book will have already had three different artists. Even Marvel who has become known for truncated artist runs does better than that.

If Mahnke is only going to do a 2-issue stint, who's the new regular artist? Will this book ever have a regular artist?

Is it just me, or does Hawkman's face look a little... off in that image. I like the art in general, Mahnke is amazing, but that one panel looks weird.

Should be interesting at least.
