'Injustice: Gods Among Us' Box Art Revealed

Yesterday it was announced DC's archer (and now TV star) Green Arrow will be playable in the upcoming fighting game and today NetherRealm Studios is releasing even more info. The official box art has been revealed and it's sporting a not-so flattering image of Ollie.

Aside from Green Arrow taking a nap, you'll also notice a somewhat recognizable face smack-dab in the center of the picture as well as the far right. While the Clown Prince of Crime and Green Lantern haven't officially been announced as playable characters, it seems more than safe to assume they'll be a part of the roster.

Darn, I had my money on Green Arrow winning that fight...

You can pick up a copy of 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' April 2013. Expect for us to have more news surrounding the game while we're at New York Comic-Con this week!

Let's look at who DC is pushing:

We have the 6 Justice Leaguers who will for sure be in the movie. (If there's a seventh it could be Aquaman OR Martian Manhunter. Or there may be no seventh.)

We also have Green Arrow who's well-reviewed TV program premieres tonight,

And at the center of it all, we have DC's most well known and most iconic villain.

Yeah this looks awesome! We've officially got at least half the roster :D

I can't wait to see some footage of Joker and Green Lantern. Also, is Green Arrow turned to stone or something?

I'm not sold on the Joler taking up a slot in the roster especially with so many Bat characters there, we really don't need him Harley Quinn and Nightwing to all be there. But I suppose Joker's presence was always inevitable so no point in complaining about it. I'm glad GL is there, hope Aquaman is in this too

Amazing!

Interesting that Green Arrow has been put in a sort of center position but it does make sense considering Arrow premieres tonight.

YES! AT LAST!!

This makes me so amazingly happy. Joker my favorite character of all time in any media or book any where included, and he is front and center.

They dragged it out and delayed letting us know for so long, so I'm glad when they did come through they came through big.

If the game is to Batman heavy there are other characters they could and should drop before Joker.

I know there are a lot of people out there not to thrilled with this, but the amount of joy this gives me is probably more than the level of unhappiness it causes to others. I'm sure you will still enjoy the game, lots of others to play as.

I NEEDED this today. Massive layoffs at the hospital where I work. I escaped the cut but friends did not. Been trying to get a host hotel for Dragoncon and got shut out. The Marriott was my last hope and they sold out in seconds. Couldn't even get on the web page. So I needed this.

Sorry to rant guys but this is the first good thing that's happened this week.

Well, I'm not shocke to see bats and Supes on the cover.. I was hoping for a little more originality here :/

And throwing green arrow in there honestly makes it worse :p

They need real diverse Dc villains with power such as Black Adam not powerless clowns,and women dressed as clowns to pacify the the Bat fanboy base. This games deserve's the best DC has to offer, brawl wise. Superman vs the clown male or female, or catwoman is not a good match up on paper, and something I will not be looking forward to. Time to add Shazam, Firestorm, Aquaman and others to solidify the game.

@evilvegeta74: Black Adam, Firestorm and Aquaman may well be in it. They haven't announced every body. I expect at least some of those three are in there. Don't give up hope yet.
