Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 Video Game Allegedly Confirmed

It's looking like we'll get another chance to jump back into the alternate universe!

Injustice: Gods Among Us was a very fun fighting game (check out our review here). Even when you completed the story mode and challenges, NetherRealm Studios was able to keep interest in the title strong by creating six downloadable characters, new skins, and more. However, you can't help but want even more from this alternate universe. Sure, you can read the very awesome digital comic (and you should), but many of us want to play as so many more characters and see where the story goes after the first one, too. Luckily for us, it looks like a sequel is reportedly in the works. During WonderCon, the game was allegedly name-dropped during a segment chatting about the upcoming Batman game Arkham Knight.

IGN speculates that if a studio other than NetherRealm is behind the project, a 2015 release might not be far-fetched. That said, there's no official word -- at least not yet -- on who's developing the possible game or an expected release date. Regardless, it's exciting to think about which new characters it may include! What's your combatant wish list look like, Viners? Let us know below.
