This has been quite the week for new trailers. 20th Century Fox just dropped the new trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence upon us. Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, and the rest (except Will Smith) are back after 20 years (the first ID4 was released on July 3, 1996). This time they're joined by Liam Hemsworth when the aliens return with a bigger force (and bigger special FX) than the last time.
It looks like they're using the recovered alien technology and set up a moon base to prepare for another invasion. The question is, will all the countermeasures be enough to protect Earth?
Independence Day: Resurgence opens in theaters on June 24, 2016.
