Hugh Jackman Reveals More About The Wolverine

Jackman lets us know a tad more information about the upcoming The Wolverine film.

The Wolverine news floodgates are opening, and we've learned quite a bit about the movie the past few weeks, which won't release until July 26, 2013. In a recent interview with Parade, Hugh Jackman let a bit more information out about the highly anticipated upcoming film.

As you may know, The Wolverine takes place in Japan, but lots of people were questioning where in the X-Men movie timeline it will take place. We now have a definitive answer:

The movie takes place after X-Men: The Last Stand. My character is at his lowest. He is supposed to be able to heal himself, but he may encounter someone who has worked out a way to really hurt him.

So, The Wolverine takes place after X-Men: The Last Stand. He dealt with a lot of pain and heartache in X3, especially with Jean, so he's gone through a lot, but who is this character who has a way to hurt him?

Jackman also revealed one other thing in the interview:

there is a cameo from one of the past X-Men in it.

Could this be Jean Grey? It was rumored a couple months ago that Famke Janssen was in Australia to do a cameo as Jean Grey. Looks like we'll have to wait and see for The Wolverine to be released July 26, 2013.

What do you guys think of the news? What X-Men character would you like to see cameo in this film?

Well, the only thing I can hope for is that the whole movie is full of flashbacks like Logan is back in Japan and thinking of Jean and her death but he also remembers his earlier staying(during WWII)in there. That could probably save it from being another bad movie.
