Ok I'm a huge fan of Guillermo, I love Hellboy and I have the box set of his original films but I have 3 requests

1. It actually has to be dark, these characters wer created to tell dark storys and it would be doing them a disservice if it ended up like JLD which is about as dark as a box of kittens

people gave him a bad rap because they wanted a blonde British brown coat Constantine. But keanu reeves did an excellent job playing an original american Constantine.

Okay, look. Del toro is a great director and writer, will not deny that. However it took years for him to make Pacific Rim. We don't have a Hellboy 3 and he shoots ideas like a Arnold with a minigun filled with blanks. It sounds like a good idea, these characters are the cream of DC's roster but will they register with a non fanboy/girl audience? Can he give each character a fair amount of exposition and screen time? Consider these questions people. Remember we still have'nt seen Pacific Rim yet, it may make or break Guillermo. Really hope it will be successful.

This is the best thing that could happen to that comic series. DC should be pushing the issue since it would help increase their sales.

I like the roster already. I want to see this now.

I agree about the use of Constantine and he can be the leader. I also like Demon and I Vampire. Maybe throw in an angel like Zauriel. For females I prefer Madame Xanadu, Enchantress and Black Orchid.

Interesting... great choice for director. But after JL in 2015, WB really should make a Wonder Woman movie. She's iconic, part of the Trinity with Superman and Batman and all that stuff. But she's never gotten the big screen treatment. So much potential here. Flash too. Saying all that, and getting back to Del Toro, I could really see him doing the 'dark' characters justice for the big screen-- bring it on!

Although I would rather see a Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow , or even a Bird's of Prey movie, heck I think a Justice Society movie would be a better choice but at least their trying so am happy.

Guillermo Del Toro is known for taking a very long time to make his movies. Considering how long his list of movies are, one's that haven't been released or filmed, it would be a while before this even reaches 'developmental' phase. Though I will say this he better make a Hellboy 3.

Can we also get Andrew Bennet in on this? If only to force DC to keep I, Vampire around as long as possible.

Not really! He has a minor role in the JLD Annual #1 (which is a great story nonetheless) and has yet to appear in the regular issues of the New52's JLD.

Holy Moly! That would be f***ing awesome!

This could be everything from very disappointing, just being lame (as most comic movies) to super-awesome and best adaption ever. However, this could also be a brilliant b-movie... Ed Wood-style (Bela Lugosi would be a great Constantine btw).

I'm in for this... if it will ever happen and no matter which version. :)

Del Toro takes for.......ev.........er............to complete things, but I hope this goes like he says it is. Having a director in line is HUGE. I hope it's him actually. I bet they throw Swamp Thing in cast too. Del Toro likes monsters and Swamp Thing in it only makes sense. Plus, I bet the agile kung fu guy who played the bad vampire in Blade 2, and the bad guy prince in Hellboy 2 gets a roll.

That's how I feel about Guardians of the Galaxy.

This type of project is a complete waste of time for a director like Del Toro,but what the heck it certainly has more potential that a regular JL movie. It's exactly because these characters haven't been done to death that make it easier to attract the wider non comic fan audience. No preconcieved notions ,and thank the lord, no Wonder Woman.
