Green Lantern and New Krypton Figures

Prepare to get excited about plastic

ActionFigurePics was at the 2010 Toy Fair and got some sweet pictures of two big series coming out in the near future: Series 6 of the Green Lantern: Blackest Night and Series 1 of Superman: New Krypton.

We'll start with the most disappointing figure out of series 6: Hal Jordan. He appeared in the Green Lantern Series 1, DC Universe Series 3, and had a San Diego Comic Con Exclusive figure (5 of them) in 2009. Don't you think he's had enough? All this looks like is a new paint job, but if you missed any of the figures before, this is your chance to hop on

the Hal Jordan train!

On the right, we have Black Lantern Hawkgirl. You knew this was coming when Hawkman was announced, it was only a matter of time. Just like the other Black Lantern figures, this one looks pretty darn creepy and looks a lot like it's comic book counter-part. She comes with a sword... so she can stab the rest of your figures.

Look! Two Wonder Woman figures in one series! In series 4, Black Lantern Wonder Woman, pictured here. Now, we have the Star Sapphire version of Wonder Woman and she looks just as scantily clad as the rest of the S.S. She also

comes with the lasso of truth, which in this picture looks incredibly cheesy. I hope that's not the final lasso.

The final figure is the one I'm most excited about: Blue Lantern Flash! Yeah, it's the same body as Hal, just repainted, but look... It's Barry! The WW and Flash figures pretty much let the rest of the GL fans that Scarecrow, Lex, Mera, and Atom are soon to follow.

Next up we have series 1 of Superman: New Krypton.

Mon-El is the first one here, even though you can sneak a peak at Superwoman. Looks like he was rupped out of the

book, solid looking sculpt and paint job. He's your basic "Super-Blank" character, so there's not too much to talk about.

Next up we have Superwoman. This one looks pretty great. It's nice to see a character that looks a little different from the other characters get their own figure. Sometimes, you just wonder if they're just doing repaints of everything.

I'm hoping it's just the lighting, and because his lower half is black and blends in with

the background, but Brainiac looks awkward here. This is another figure I've been waiting for, ever since the Brainiac storyline, and I'm not too impressed, mainly because everything seems to disproportional. (I really hope it's the lighting.

Last, but not least, we have Kal-El in his Kryptonian military uniform. I think this one looks pretty amazing. It's one of my favorite uniform's, next to Red Son, he's dawned. Face sculpt looks a little weird to me, but other than that, it's on the money. If you like the New Krypton book, I highly recommend picking this one up.

The 2010 Toy Fair dropped some major bombs on us this year. A sixth series of a hugely popular action figure line, and we also get a brand new series, based off a great story arc.

Which figures will you pick up?
