Get Ready for 'Batman: Arkham City' Game of the Year Edition

It was inevitable, and I am looking forward for this. I'm willing to wait until it's under $30 though, no cash to throw around for full price games.

Also I'm excited to be going up against Harley Quinn. Two other things I think would be cool is giving Tim his comic book Robin costume, I like the ones in the game, but it would be cool and also the new Red Robin costume, I like that one better than the original Red Robin Costume,though that one is okay, I like it just not as much as the other two, but I am way excited to get this version. Once it comes out I'll will be celebrating after buying it.

Hey I've already got the game, but I'm not mad about having to get this version of it. I think having both versions will be great. I'll beable to play as Batman, Robin, and Catwoman in the story mode. I'm keeping my other one to definately twice the fun, even if its the same thing. The only thing I wish I could do along with Robin, Catwoman, and Batman is I wish Nightwing was playable in story mode to. No offense, but I like the whole Bat family, especially Robin/ Tim Drake and Nightwing/ Dick Grayson. Also I would love to have a Oracle challenge map in one of these games. I think it would be cool, I don't know how it would work, I know though wheelchair bound she is a good fighter or even having her walk again and be Batgirl again would be cool.

2. I don't know either. Hasn't been announced yet. I'm expecting the $60-$40 range.
3. Yes, definitely. It can be played in 3D, and comes with four extra challenge maps. Since they're the same prices at Gamestop now, you should get GOTY edition instead of regular.

Man the WHOLE reason I waited this long to get Batman Arkam City was for the GOTY Edition, which now doesn't even have the Gotham City Imposters bundled with it?? wish they could just bundle them together for the GOTY, now that would make poeple hungryer for BAC definitely would get my hyped for it. Is it too late to redo it rocksteady? PLEASE!

ive bought every dlc besides the costumes because they really add nothing to the game besides looks. If Batman was making fists with a yellow ring and flying wtth the Batman Beyond costume maybe id get it but nope. I got Catwoman with the game, and bought Nightwing and Robin and with Harleys Revenge coming i will get that seeing as how i wanna play as Robin in arkham city.

I waited for this to happen. I thought it was gonna take a longer amount of time, but hey, what do you know, it comes out on my friggin' birthday XD

@Funrush: game of the year edition is always cheaper and packed with more. its made for people who have waited patiently and deserve to have goodies for rather less expense :)

Maybe it's cause the game comes with the Nightwing DLC.

I've not even faced the first version yet. Its on my to do list, but this looks great...

Is all of the content on this being released for download, or do you need to buy the game again?

From the looks of the cover I'd say Harley Quinn's revenge is a separate dlc and the GOTY edition comes with a voucher for it.

The Harley story should be a separate DLC so I can play it!

The way these games always add all their DLC onto the Game of the Year editions makes me want to stop buying these games when they are first release.

Mind you, I do enjoy this game a lot. Still working on some of Batman's challenges.

As much as I want Harley Quinn's Revenge, I'm not buying the game again. It's the same thing with a different label. And that's seriously killing me, because that new content looks insane.

While I am slightly annoyed that they're releasing the game along with all of the DLC along with a whole new chapter to the game all in one, I don't feel that cheated because I figure they will eventually put the Harley Quinn chapter DLC up on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in the following months after this version is released. This is most likely a marketing ploy to get people to buy the same game twice but I don't think they're that money hungry that they would leave the majority of us who have already bought the first version, downloaded most of the DLC like Robin, Nightwing, additional skins, etc. hanging like this.
 
So I'm just going to sit tight and rock out with my Batman Beyond skin until they release this as DLC. :P

I still can't buy the DLC packs because of ''Region Block'' and it is damn frustrating.

What purpose those ''blocks'' serve anyway ? It makes me hate the GFWL even more....

I already have Arkham Ayslum GOTY Edition, now I'm gonna get Arkham City! Yeaaahhh!

As someone who bought it on release date and has spent money on DLC, I thought about waiting around but I'm on the net too much to not have picked up spoilers.....

So to all those who picked it up early, don't be, we've enjoyed a game of the highest quality and will be treated to more DLC, all we have to do is hope that the extra DLC will be worth it (but seeing as how much value we got in the first version, I think that that's a foregone conclusion :) )

One thing that annoyed me a little bit was how Hush didn't know Batman was Bruce Wayne and some of the character history was missing. Harley's Revenge better be a DLC or else I'm gonna lose it. Even though the main story was great it could've been just a tad longer

Well, I haven't gotten this yet, and it comes with all DLC, too. I'll buy it, if it's not $60. If so, I'll wait for it to drop to $50.

I've got a much better idea though, and one that would make sense based on their current trend. Making the title 'Arkham World' justified would require a story FAR too contrived to work properly, but what if they added a lot more of these side campaigns like Catwoman's story and Robin's part in HQ's revenge; with Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, and perhaps more? Made them a more integral part of the story. And call the game 'Arkham Knights.'

And this seems perfectly in line with Hush's usual M.O. His goal, on a conscious level, isn't to simply become Bruce Wayne and live his life; he wants to completely destroy Wayne's life and obtain the aspects of it.

And I'd rather see more villains than too much rehashing of the ones we've already experienced.

this, arkham knights would be cool no doubt, but I want to see gotham itself. Batman helping/getting in the way of cops, more detective work around murders, etc.

I still think 'Arkham Knights' could take place in Gotham proper. Just the idea that perhaps the inmate population has spilled into the city a bit or something, and the whole Bat-Family needs to catch them/stop them.

Harley Quinn's Revenge will be released May 29th on PSN and May 30th on Xbox Live.

is there a seperate download for Harley revenge???? Or do we need to buy the game for that. What a minute. scratch that. I'm going to have to buy the game again anyway because then I can just run around and take out bad guys as Robin when the missions are over. lame, but cool, but lame.

I sold my copy to a co-worker for $50 back in November so I'll grab this. Hopefully my old saves will carry over. That said...

That is some ugly ass cover art. It's way too busy and the game title gets lost in all the "10 out of 10" crap

Weird, how come people could accept CG computer games, but not CG animated series.

They better do this as DLC. If not thats bulls**t. Hope you can use Robin's other skins so I can use the Grayson BTAS skin.

Count me in as one of those people who wait for the GOTY edition. I decided early on I'd wait for it due to all the dlc but it coming this early with Batman Year One as well is a big surprise. I might pawn this off as a gift for my brother since his birthday is May 28th :P

really ticked off now. now I have to buy GOTY edition to get the complete story? And I've already bought all the other content-_-

I have already resell my version after getting the 100%.

Even if i had it i would not buy for this dlc. This kind of thing is the main reason for why i am less and less playing.
