@z3ro180 exactly! Phil Burassa's character designs are awesome. More in line with comic styl;e art. I get the anime comparison, but it's actually closer to Jim Lee, The Kuberts, Jim Cheung, Ivan Reis, and that hyper detailed style. And that's why I love it. Don't get me wrong I will always love BTAS, and everything that came from it like STAS, Batman Beyond, JL/JLU, but that art style had it's run. These are different stories and should have a different look.

This is nothing like the storyline. And Queen Atlanna is dead. AQUAMAN'S PARENTS ARE DEAD! Why do people go and change perfectly good origins. He needs a beard.

Aaaand of course dat "anime-style" is superb & best suited 4 action-packed toons.

TIME OUT! This looks great and all but can someone explain to me how is Atlanna is the mother of Aquaman and Ocean Master, and the daughter of the deceased king of Atlantis but Orm calls him father?

Well to be fair, New 52 Shazam was a jerk at the time.

This doesn't look too bad.

He still is, and he's just as insufferable in the comics as he was in that movie.
