Why the is Zod in this game and not Martian Manhunter

At first the bald look confused me a bit but the goggles he had clearly inspired by the comics at one point and his goatee/beard is spot on so that's good enough for me. He'll probably have alternate, I hope they give Scorpion an alternate.

@ccraft: Yeah, I think Injustice overall went too Bat crazy.

He appears briefly and looks completely different from how he looks normally so he's easy to miss unless you have the trade that identifies all the various characters that appear.

@decoy_elite: Even though NRS has been making a lot of great skin packs, they really need to give other characters skins, so far Batman has like 7 skins.

Kingdom Come skins would be pretty sweet, especially if they had stuff like KC Cyborg and Red Robin.

It was mentioned on the Conan Clueless Gamer segment yesterday, he said Zod would be available July, no exact date though... My guess early July

Watch the video, it's anything but lazy work. Zod's design might not appeal to many people, but people did complain that he might be a Superman clone, so now he looks nothing like Superman.

@sammo21: Even though it's elseword type design they still could have made him look like Zod. Not just adding the beard, goggles and his "kneel before zod" line (still wish he would have shot that laser into the opponents eyes instead of the chest area).

My guess is they tried to make zod look nothing like Superman at all, so they made him bald and skinny. All the hate messages about how Zod will be a clone of Superman, probably played a role in his design. (which makes me even more mad at people who complain out stuff before it's even seen)

I was really hyped, I was hoping for a badass looking Zod, but I'm still excited for his game play video.

@ccraft: He still looks like a tiny, angry, bald man who is in goofy attire. Just my opinion, obviously, but definitely not what I think when I think of General Zod. That being said, I find fault with many of Injustice's costumes.

It might not be a redesign but there are minor changes that have been done, it does look better. I was very disappointed at first because, he just looked like crap, but now I realized they must have released him too soon and are still working on him.

He might even get more tweeks, hopefully.

NRS has made a few tweeks to Zod's design, it looks better than it did before. I'm pretty excited for his game play, Ed tweeted that they will release a video next week.

Kinda expected Zod's intro to be escaping the Phantom Zone. A little let down by that. But, otherwise, awesome!

Design is absolutely terrible. Hopefully we get a MoS skin pack. Oh well at least MMH is more than likely next up.

In their defense, playing as a character you enjoy looking at helps. I completely agree, people shouldn't say he straight out sucks.

However, that design is such a mismatch. To some, it barely looks like General Zod. I get what they were going for, but it is completely hideous compared to what they could've picked.

Did you ever see the mod someone made for Injustice that included General Zod?

Hating his costume is legitimate. Being disappointed a character you like more wasn't picked it legitimate. Thinking Zod will suck because of these reasons is not. We've barely seen his gameplay, at least try to keep a remotely open mind until we see an extended video with all of his moves. For all you know, he could be a really fun character to use.
